    Why is the limit £10?
I try to spend max of a couple of pounds and ideally put single items through at a time so the average spend is as low as possible
Petrol is a bit more difficult though as its a 10 mile round trip so we tend to do full tanks but it is something I am going to think about

I do try to avoid the place but its our best recycling place and its next to a good B & M so we end up in the direction at least once a week

It was aau1's v.good suggestion. It's probably an arbitrary cut-off but, if you spend more than £10, they probably then want you to spend more on cond.spends. At £20, they will want you to reach £30 etc.

I wouldn't do 10 mile round trips to Sainsbugs:rotfl: - is there anything, really, you can get from them that isn't better off elsewhere? 10 mile round is probably the journey now to my nearest A - and, with wombles, it's a lot cheaper than Sains! Not sure if my petrol though is exceeding the womble amounts - that was something I thought of and stopped making the journey recently as I figured it may be better to nip down the road and just buy a few items we need, at a time, from T. The petrol gauge was a lot healthier. I can't be guaranteed to do a round trip to A and always get wombles that covers the journey cost and more - though, sometimes, I'm sure it does. But then the gauge seems to go down - and perhaps I end up spending more?

If I'm at Sains, I put in £9 or so at a time (ideally 6 litres, which rounds the penny down and doesn't exceed the exact litres amount and be worthless in giving any points) - nothing to stop you returning to the car and filling again, with another £9, although I try to do that only once, otherwise it does draw attention. Maybe just forgot to fill the first time, and returned and found there was still some needed to fill the car! If you're putting in a full tank and spending say £40, won't your cond.spend required amounts become larger? That was, effectively, what I understood aau1 to be saying.

A can of milk would be fine for years in the tin, but not once it is open...and you would eat it in December going by your past record :p

Seriously if it looks ok and smells ok you should be fine eating it today, I would take the lid off the pie to have a peek and a sniff if I were you or have you eaten it already. ;)

Mr TS ate a sausage and mash ready meal today and it was whoopsied Friday, only been kept in the fridge. We are far too hung up on dates rather than using our senses. :o

Nope, tried the 2 tescos near me, both had stock, both were full price :(

I missed the first week of cidre, so made up for it the second week, and will hope to get some this week too. Dont know how people have the nerve to get so many in a shop, I have limited it to 6 a shop, and felt awkward doing that many :rotfl:

Hmmm, wonder where my invite is this year? (Although I think I might have invited myself the other years).

Booger you need to come down south. There were 4 golden hen, 4 gold goblin and 1 blue goblin left in my store today and the SELs even showed the RTC price. I was surprised they were still there so late in the day.

I really could not bring myself to part with any more money on beer. :o Saturation point has been reached.

Yes it is still total nothing - ness here - no till spits except for triple points or doubles if you spend over £50 - no good if you only spend a few pounds at a most.
    No mailings
No basket item except double points on mycoupons and no items worth buying
Nothing on nectar.com worth getting excited about
Nothing left in trolleys to womble

I think I need to rewrite the poem called November

Ditto in mr Tosssers - nothing with statements, no till spits, no wombles

I'm out of the loop at the moment as I'm suffering a bit of a dip health wise. But I use my nectar points on eBay. I don't shop a lot in sainsburys but I do collect a lot of BP petrol points. Make sure your nectar card is registered on eBay for collecting and redeeming.

Happy 5 year anniversary to your son for swearing the allegiance. A proud time for you and for the people in our country who benefit from his sacrifice. it's a worrying time for anyone with a loved one in the forces as we wait for it all to kick off again. I hope you are ok......but at least it will give you something to worry about :p:o
