Just wondering how or if it will work....
I have a £4.50 off a £30 shop but plan to boost nectar ooints to £40 to use on TTD wine.
I'm planning to spend the £40 I need to on wine and then add coupons and buy one or two bits..... If my total bill goes to say £50 will I still qualify fir the conditional spend do we think?
I need to thank all the Sainsob experts :A, couple of weeks of targeted shops and I have 2000 points already, I did have a few to start with but only about 300 I think.

You lot come up with such complex queries:rotfl:. I can't claim to be the expert on any of it, but you're clearly spending in excess of £30? Put the cond. spend through first I think - you get that off, and then the Nectar points spent on the wine (as long as you have £40 left?). Your wine is own brand anyway, so won't compare against A (so you don't risk A being more expensive) - I don't think branded compares either as it's wines and spirits, but, anyway, it's own brand so I don't need to consider that - so, rest of your shop, if it includes brands can be brands that are cheaper at A. Would help better reach a cond.spend in S - but you are already in excess of £30 aren't you anyway (£40 spend on wine itself puts you beyond that but would not then be able to spend £40 worth of Nectar points - does this suggest 'ideal' bill, before it all, would be £44.50 (£40 of which is wine) with the remainder £4.50, maybe of brands that are preferably as cheap as possible at A? Would need 10 different items, in which you can count any different TTD wines (i.e. not two of the same one as per usual)).0 -

I was in a meeting today, and we were planning another one in a few months. Everyone got their diary out, except the 2 men and a younger woman who got their phones out....... I was impressed as there was around 30 people so 27 with diaries (but I still took the mikey out of the phone calendar people).. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
SSM I am another one that could not live without my Diary ...well really I suppose being as I am retired it's should be called my Social Calendar ;)but it is always very full up :T0 -
zippydooda wrote: »but is the 2 for 5p bags like buying them off the shelf, eg like you would bin bags. so not necessarily to take your shopping home in.
I don't think that matters: it doesn't matter whether you actually use the carrier bags for your shopping, they must still charge for them? Otherwise the whole purpose of the law would be defeated if they were able to exempt them like that. (It's like bringing your own bags to the store but then saying can I have a carrier bag for free as I am not actually going to use it to put shopping in at all - and then all carrier bags like that would be free. I think not - they still charge you 5p per bag, including on SS machines.) It's nothing to do with bin bags as bin bags aren't subject to a carrier bag charge law, so the situation with buying bin bags is totally different. There's no minimum statutory charge for bin bags (fortunately:rotfl:) so bin bags are not the issue.0 -

Truly madly - I too have been trying to plan a small shop using double up and a conditional spend. However, I have just checked my coupons and both mine and oh's 200 points on a £10 spend have disappeared so don't think I will bother. Not sure about the answer to your question - sorry.0
