I do love my diary, I would be lost without it.

I was in a meeting today, and we were planning another one in a few months. Everyone got their diary out, except the 2 men and a younger woman who got their phones out....... I was impressed as there was around 30 people so 27 with diaries (but I still took the mikey out of the phone calendar people).. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've tried and tried to just use my phone but I can't part company with my diary (or the pencil with a rubber on the end that I keep with it). Next year I'm not even going to try and have asked my sister to get me a diary for Christmas.

Is anyone planning a conditional spend at S this week using the double up vouchers too?

Just wondering how or if it will work....
I have a £4.50 off a £30 shop but plan to boost nectar ooints to £40 to use on TTD wine.

I'm planning to spend the £40 I need to on wine and then add coupons and buy one or two bits..... If my total bill goes to say £50 will I still qualify fir the conditional spend do we think?

I would expect it to be on the £20 spend before the BG.

You may be right. Do bogofs, for example, in fact reach your spend amount on the basis of two times individual price, before the "free" one then gets taken off (i.e. after you've been able to use your cond.spend)? If so, there could be luck with the TBG - it shows the same as an mbuy discount so I assume the position re. TBG and cond.spends is the same?

On your quote of the reply you received from T: :rotfl::rotfl:.

:naughty: that's a naughty word ;) we say trump :rotfl:

I am pleased you both have high standards :D:D:D:D

I am really good in mummy mode and in the house, but outside of the house I can be really rude (I know it is must be impossible to believe!)

When our eldest was 15, we decided that he needed to know that we were not perfect and that occasionally a swear word pops out. I pulled the short straw and had to say b*gger in front of him.......you could have cut the atmosphere with a knife...... he was so shocked and it took ages to get his head around it.:eek::eek:

The lesson I learnt was I was clearly an over protective parent!

I may rename my diary... 'my love'

"Charging for deliveries and click-and-collect bags

The number of bags used isn’t always known until delivery takes place. This means you can charge for an average number of bags for multi-bag deliveries, as long as 5p or more is charged per bag overall." [My emphasis, and double emphasis over "per bag".]
    https://www.gov.uk/guidance/carrier-bag-charges-retailers-responsibilities

That relates to deliveries/CC. However, it suggests there must be a minimum charge of 5p per bag, so 2 for 5p is unlawful (especially for an instore situation where there wasn't this deliveries situation)?

but is the 2 for 5p bags like buying them off the shelf, eg like you would bin bags. so not necessarily to take your shopping home in.
