Evening All
Just reading up on T's Brand Guarantee but have a question that only the ELITE would know.....
If the comparable products are deducted before paying does that mean if I have a conditional spend voucher of £3 off WYS £20, it will have already made deductions from a Barilla based shop (to use coupons against Morries 75p prices), to make it much harder to get to £20 to start with?
TIAThe end is nigh0 -

On the subject of carrier bags, the other day I went to pick up something from Lakeland that I had ordered online. The lady went out the back to fetch it and came back with it in a carrier bag. She asked whether I wanted the bag and said she would have to charge me 5p if I did. I declined as I had a bag with me and she said she would have to dispose of the bag as it was used!
(I know you want to know what I bought TM, it was some drawer dividers)0 -
Very :money: Well done. I had the £1 tree but it wasn't a rooted one. Hope that you are feeling ok after you recent hospital trips.
Don't want to be a misinformer but I think that it may be Master Lala's birthday tomorrow. Hope that he has a lovely day. Doesn't seem all those years ago that we were awaiting his acceptance into Cambridge. :T:T:T
Thank-you MKS all good ...hope things are looking up for you too :A
You have such a good memory :Tas it is indeed Master Lala's Birthday tomorrow..and does not seem possible he has done his 3years at Cambridge already and will shortly be a working young man:T:T0 -
"Charging for deliveries and click-and-collect bags
The number of bags used isn’t always known until delivery takes place. This means you can charge for an average number of bags for multi-bag deliveries, as long as 5p or more is charged per bag overall." [My emphasis, and double emphasis over "per bag".]
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/carrier-bag-charges-retailers-responsibilities
That relates to deliveries/CC. However, it suggests there must be a minimum charge of 5p per bag, so 2 for 5p is unlawful (especially for an instore situation where there wasn't this deliveries situation)?0
