Weird one. T had a SEL on bags of fun size maltesers "£2.79 and 2 for £2.00" I thought that looked odd. Bought 2 and wondered what would come off at the till (hoping for £1.79 off each!). Till priced them at £1.45 each and correctly took 90p off. So the SEL was wrong, but no chance of caliming that at CS as the final price was correct. Not such a bargain!

I noticed this as, online, the prices of some (but not all) of the Funsize bags in the offer were individual price £2.79 but have come down to individual price of £1.45. I mentioned last week about not wanting to risk APG getting £2.79+£1.39 if it failed to pick up T mbuy (some items were/are £1.39 and 2 for £2 and others were then £2.79 and 2 for £2 but have since come down in individual price - so £1.39x2 vs £1.45+£1.39, in the event of an mbuy fail on the comp. for T on mix and match, would not have lost as much). They've simply not changed the individual price on the SEL you saw - but the individual price, as you've found out, has gone down. Obviously it is correct at 2 for £2 in T.

I was actually going to buy a couple of bags at T last week but changed my mind and went for APG as I had vouchers to spend in A. I then saw Morries at 43p on other ones, but Maltesers went to straight £1 in M and have now shot back up to £2.76. I noticed Milky Way meanwhile (and M&Ms that I don't think compares) on "RTC" £1 in A late this afternoon [Strike]- maybe a CC/HD vs M at 43p risk?:rotfl::rotfl:[/Strike]* Until they disappear entirely from M tomorrow probably and go N/A. NB: I have no idea if the Milky Way picks up the M 43p price.

*EDIT: No such luck - looks like they are no longer available in A but we know differently. Was hoping they were £1.39 online but seems they have been removed - obviously don't want to better M's 43p price:rotfl::p. In fact I don't know if that is the reason but they are now on RTC in A (seems not as good RTC as the 43p one in M if you find them there).
