Well, just completed my assessment, so I guess it's just *fingers crossed* now!! Hopefully I did well and will be joining most of you at TeleTech in the near future! :j0

We had another good evening in training yesterday. There is loads to learn but the pace we are moving at is just right for all recruits. Mark (trainer) has the most wonderful Irish voice - I think us girls could listen to him all day:rotfl: He also has a wicked sense of humour and keeps everyone smiling and happy whilst still getting the work done.
I'm looking forward to nesting now. Can't wait to get that first call out the way.0 -
For training do we need a headset or is it over the phone? or do we type or anything? just a bit confused how the training works! :rolleyes:0

You take part in conference calls for training, the headset should arrive during your training but up till then a speakerphone is a good idea. Also whilst on the call you will be using a website to be shown presentations by the trainer so its part listening, part watching the screen and interacting.0

Once you come out of nesting you may find you have new best friends called SUs lol

I applied to Teletech for both the sales and customer service positions last week. Did both assessments the next day, had 1st call on Friday and 2nd interview yesterday.
I had mine with Ashley.. she said I should think hard about which position I want, next training session starts 8th Sept and she will e-mail me/speak with me tomorrow (which is today) so I'm not sure what to think of that.... any thoughts?
I'm really hoping to get this job so I can supplement another job and finally move out on my own......fingers crossed.

You will often get split between the team leaders already in position unless a new team is being brought in for a new team leader. Either way you still get to see the people you train with because of the "chat" system.
SUs are Super Users, they are the people that sit in the help and team rooms to help, advise and support you during your calls.0 -
I love our group:smileyhea
I hope nesting isn't as scary as it sounds. I'm looking forward to taking calls too, I just hope the first few are 'easy' ones:p0
