need the adapter at all and can just conect it between
the phone and the telephone port on the adsl filter

Just wondered what the pay was like?
What do people usually come out with at the end of a week?
    Wins this year.

    Hello,

    I have some questions

    1. Do you have to have a dedicated landline, if you don't will I be able to recieve incoming calls from my normal landline.

    2. Do they supply an analog phone + the headset?

    3. Do you still have to have an ID check from a solicitor and if so how much does this cost?

    4. Is there ever chance to do full time work or any overtime available and at what rate is overtime paid at?

Sorry to be a pain, just getting my head round this all before I go ahead with it all

    Thanks!!

I'm only a week into training Quddos but from what I have learnt so far -

You use your normal line but this means you will not be able to recieve incoming calls whilst you are working. You could have a seperate line installed if this was important to you. I think Daffodil has done this so she might be able to tell you how much it costs etc..

They do supply the phone and headset.

You do have to do an ID check and this involves getting a solicitor to sign and stamp a letter to say that they have seen your passport or other ID. I got this done for £5 by a local solicitor so not too bad..

From what I am aware every one starts off with part time hours but I think some people have had the chance to increase them. Think overtime is just paid at the normal rate which is £6 an hour.

It really is a great opportunity and although I've only been in training a week I am enjoying it and would recommend any one interested to apply. It's great:D

People should also consider PMing Oliver for his details when they apply because there is a referall scheme and most of us would probably never have known about the job if it wasn't for this thread. I know he didn't start the thread for this reason but it's nice to be able to show how much we all appreciate it :)

Hi i called 7-8 solicitors, only 3 agreed to do it and they were all £25 plus vat, i paid it as i didnt have too much time to get it done. I start training tomorrow and would also like to thank Oliver for posting the job. It sounds ideal for me and most people seem to enjoy it.

Sadly they don't do the referral scheme anymore
I'm amazed Jaxx -I tried 2 solicitors locally both wanted £10 to do it.
Overtime is paid at standard rate except for certain bank holidays (which is usual in part time jobs). I've always got overtime when I've wanted it-and have never felt pressured to do it when it has been available but I haven't wanted it.
I got a second line-in some ways I wish I hadn't as it's annoying when the other line rings when I'm working-but I'm the only adult in the house so for a couple it may be different. I'm with Virgin and they gave me the second line free.
Yes headset and phone are supplied-they arrive the first or second week of training.

  • Oliver (or anyone technical) can you help. I followed your fix and uninstalled Flash9 and installed Flash 8 and everything for TT works now....BUT....some of the programmes I use for my business now don't work as they need Flash 9. Do you know if there is a way to resolve this?
  • When did they stop the referral scheme? We were told about it in our training and it is in our contract. I've just referred a friend on and she is at the final stages of interview now.

Yes, I had a new line and broadband installed. We already had the second line in existance but it wasn't connected so it didn't cost to have it switched on, but it normally costs £125.
