A real work at home job

There are often a few that apply without realising how much work can be involved or don't understand how call centers work. Or there are some that don't realise how important it is to have a quiet work area or just don't like the hours that have to be done.0

Oh not sure why live help wouldn't tell you the result keepthefaith. I went on and they told me I passed.
Suppose it's just a waiting game for you now then.. I'm sure you've done fine though.
Mel you will get there in the end!:p
Can I ask the people who have been through training how many people seemed to drop out before getting to the end? Only I imagine a lot of people apply for the job with unrealistic expectations.0 -
Well if it was bad news and you had failed I'm sure they would just tell you. The fact they are still reviewing your application sounds good. Hopefully you will hear soon. A few more training dates available in August I think, fingers crossed you will get on to one of them!
Bought a cheap speakerphone with a mute button today from Argos..I'm all ready to go now!!0 -
A bit annoyed that my speakerphone can not be put on mute without me having to hold the button down! It's the Opticom/Binatone 210 from Argos..did any one find a way around this?
Can any one recommend a better one?0 -
Hi again.
I have just run meetingplace on my wired set up and it says...
"Test completed successfully
Warning your connection is slow. meetings will run very slowly.
Your computer doesn't have the Cisco unified presenter add in installed.
We have also detected that this add in is not yet supported on your platform.
You will be unable to share during this presentation on this platform."
Has anyone else had this? Is it a problem? is there anything i can do about it?
Thanks

Don't worry about mute button so much as you go onto hash 5 on the phone when in meetingroom (I think its hash 5 it is so long ago lol) but you will be told this on your first night. Indeed I think they prefer you to hash 5 as opposed to the mute button as there seemed to be a lot of interference from some phones when mute was hitAuddel0 -
Oh Louderspeaker on your phone is quite important as it saves you holding you phone for 4 hrs lolAuddel0

Okay guys, here's where I'm at. Office is finally set up and I've just run the Workbooth assessment and that passed okay (I'm assuming - I got to the bit where you enter 'test'). I've had ID verified, got the disclosure and utility bill here, filled in all forms and they are ready to be posted tomorrow.
Is there anything else I need to do before Monday? And where on earth do I go on Monday - do I run workbooth or what?0 -
Melfly - what is meetingplace???0

Hi Daffodil
I got an email from the trainer today asking us to make sure we can get into meetingplace.
Its the online bit where we train i think.
When we had the information session we could go on it there as well as phone in.
I couldn't get it to work on my computer. I tried again today thru workbooth and it said it will work but slowly and i wont be able to share!
Not sure whats going on!
