Thank you auddel..I'll stick with the phone I've got then :)

Hi Daff and Mel..I got the email from the trainer tonight as well. Mine has not long been sent so I'm sure you'll get one soon Diane. I wonder if we will all be in the same group or if there are a couple of groups? My email was from Mark..
  • Yep, got mine now (am feeling loved again!!!!!) It is also from Mark.

I'm now onto tech support as I can't get meeting place to connect. I pass all the tests but it tells me I haven't got the meeting place add in installed - but I have!!!

just connect to meeting place via workbooth, you will need to in training anyway

I went thru workbooth and this is what i got

    "Test completed successfully
Warning your connection is slow. meetings will run very slowly.
Your computer doesn't have the Cisco unified presenter add in installed.
We have also detected that this add in is not yet supported on your platform.
You will be unable to share during this presentation on this platform."

Unsupported? Weird, personally I wouldn't worry about it, as long as you are booting into workbooth it's nothing your end causing the issue as the WB system is designed to run the way they want it to run. They may just be tinkering with the servers again and haven't got it quite right but no doubt by start of training they will be ready to go.

I'm really looking forward to starting training. Are we given tests etc throughout training to make sure we are keeping up and taking it all in?

Yep, there is an online testing system that you get sent to regularly to work through presentations and then answer questions, these are scored and you must pass them to be able to complete your training. Don't worry they aren't hard and often tell you all the answers just before asking you the questions.
