I'm having the same problem and getting the same message Mel. I think a few of us are having problems, judging by the email that I recieved from the trainer earlier.
Anyway......ARE WE READY!!!!!!!!!!0 -
It seems like this week has gone really slow because I am looking forward to next week so much. Is that sad?:rotfl:
If you can't access Meetingplace via Vista does this mean I will have to load Workbooth up on Monday and access it through there?
Do I still need to download the latest Java and Firefox?
I'm so sorry about all the questions I have bombarded people with lately..Hopefully I will stop on Monday:p0 -
I went thru workbooth and this is what i got
"Test completed successfully
Warning your connection is slow. meetings will run very slowly.
Your computer doesn't have the Cisco unified presenter add in installed.
We have also detected that this add in is not yet supported on your platform.
You will be unable to share during this presentation on this platform."

I was getting this message also and what I did was install the add on and then uninstalled version 9 of flash player and installed version 8
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14266&sliceId=2
and installed java from https://www.java.com once i downloaded the flash player i then extracted it and then i went into the fp8_archive\fp8_archive\r42
and then ran the 2 files
flashplayer8r42.exe and flashplayer8r42_winax.exe
You do have to unstall all the flash players, if you have more than 1 player in add and remove all programs do all of them. You also have to make sure the brower is closed when you are running the 2 installersFun loving young Female0 -
Missy_Mai you should be working on the tech project
I can also confirm that version 8 of Flash Player is also
the fix for those who are getting the "Connecting to Server"
message indefinitely when runing the meeting place browser test
if you have version 9 installed you can use the flash removel tool
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157
then follow Missy_Mai's info above to install V8-r42 of flash player0 -

Dont lose any sleep over that you dont need the presenter add in anyway,
thats only used by the trainers to put up presentations and pictures
You dont need it installed to view any of meeting place0 -
Hi guys, I completed the online tests on monday 28th july and received an email saying they would get back to me in 72 hours. . . still no word! I have contacted live help several times and they said a recruiter would contact me as soon as they review my assessments.Do you think I should contact live help again or sit tight,I dont want to be pestering them??? Does it normally take this long?0

keepthefaith I'd wait and see if any one calls you on Monday. I've never been contacted by teletech over the weekend and in my experience they can sometimes be a bit delayed in getting back to you.
Also remember they could call late-ish in the evening because they are behind us..Most of the calls I have recieved have been around 4:30pm - 6pm.
Give it til Monday and if no contact..get on to them again0 -
