Hey Auddel glad to see you've sprung back to life recently with all the q's from the new group!
Talking of holidays - I had mine booked before I started in april - I had to put my request in - and got a reply 5 weeks later that they were granted - this was about 2 weeks before I was actually going lol- I had tried chasing them up with my Team Leader and I made everyone aware that I did not care if they were granted or not - I was going on them lol.
As for holiday pay - I work 34 hrs per week (not including overtime) and got approx £200 wages for the 2 weeks I was off - so not sure whether any of you brain boxes can work out how that works out pro-rata lol- As I said, I only started on 14th april and went on holidays from 1st July until 18th July (inclusive)Auddel0 -
Guys, can I ask one more question (so sorry to be bombarding you!)
I have a new line being installed into the office on 31st July and BT say they can't transfer the broadband to that number (from my home number) until after the 4th August. Therefore I'll be using broadband on my home number for a couple of days of training and then transferring to my new number. Does that present a problem do you think?
And Auddel - did you have a good holiday? I hope so0 -

Aaah Auddel thats where you went lol!
Daffodil, it doesnt mater which telephone line or broadband you use as long as you have a broadband connection available to connect, as for the telephone during training You dial into the meetingplace on an 0800 number just like the information session that you would have had at some point, and during shift you input the number for the system to call you back on each time when logging in so as far as i can see it wouldnt present any problems whatsoever.
Not long now until you guys start your training!!!0 -

It looks as if you get 12/13 days at 20 hours but I'm sure I must be reading it wrong as that is a breach of your statutory employment rights.
Will pm you to explain it.0 -

a. It works and is stable.
b. You aren't left without BB for any period.
The TT system isn't really that bothered what line you call in from or what BB you are using as long as its stable. With the telephone software you tell it the number you are connecting the phone to so even if your telephone number was to change it wouldn't matter as you would tell the software what number to dial.0 -

For the current role that you're applying for, full time isn't available. If you're looking to do full time work, you could visit their website from here. Make sure to select your language from the drop down box at the top (if you select English UK, it will probably show you jobs that are available in the UK rather than US), and then choose the area of work you're interested in from the "Select a Topic:" drop down box.
You don't have to register as self employed as you are actually employed by TeleTech rather than contracted by them.0 -
How hot is it today!!!! I'm melting here but have finally got the office set up. Stan is just wiring up the computers and we are ready to go!!!!
It's getting exciting now. I'm really looking forward to starting.0 -
Hi daffodil are you on the 4th of August training too?
I'm right excited.
I'm glad there'll be a few of us all on it together!
Have you received your hirepack yet?
Not got mine yet.0 -
Yes, I've got mine and got to get it sorted and sent back this week. Going to run Workbooth later tonight to make sure we have no technical hitches.0
