A real work at home job

Hi Wildt
I know your kind of at the same stage as me so wondered if you can help.
Ashley phoned yesterday to offer me the job and said i needed the Disclosure Scotland and the references within 48 hours of accepting the job.
Thing is she hasn't sent me the email she mentioned and i'm not 100% sure what she means.
I have applied for the Disclosure scotland but it says on their site it can take upto 2 weeks.
I also dont know if i need to provide reference addresses, phone numbers etc or the actual reference!
Any ideas?

If you have Ashley's email address then email her directly with your references - all you need is the name , address, phone number and whether personal or professional (I think you need 2 personal and 2 professional if I remember right).
Diclosure Scotland - it can take up to 2 weeks depending on whether you applied online or through the post- but you should be able to get the barcode number from them and this can be emailed too before your actually statement comes through - teletech will accept this and then you can forward your statement onto them.

Ps if you don't have Ashely's email address - go on to Live call and tell them you have not received the email and can they get in touch with her for you.

Hi Melfly, I would just send Ashley an email and let her know you haven't recieved the emails. I recieved 3 emails off Amy straight after my phone call to tell me I had the job. They contained attachments that you need to fill in and send back within 48 hours. One is for the references.. They also contain lots of information about the Disclosure and what you need to do etc.

Wildt - I did email Ashley yesterday and mentioned the refs to her and she said she would be emailing me shortly but still nothing.
I dont really wanna pester her but if some stuff needs doing within 48 hours.....??

I'd think the 48 hours should start from when you are sent the email really, but it probably doesn't. You have ordered the Disclosure so that's the main thing. I think all you need to do is email the Disclosure/application number to Ashley so they are aware that you have started the process.. I already have a Disclosure from 1 year ago so I'm using that. Amy emailed me asking me for the number off it.

Basically the reference form just requires you to fill in the names/addresses/telephone number etc for 4 referees. It won't take long for you to fill it out so I'd just make sure you have the information ready for when you get the email.

Other than that we are just waiting for our paperwork to come in the post really

Yep inbound sales I've recieved the hours for training (Mon-Fri 4:30pm to 8:30pm) from the 4th August to the 29th. Amy said we would recieve our actual hours around 2 weeks into the training. I am looking forward to it, are you?

I've not recieved anything here. I've been told I start on 4th August, but no training times given, no email etc. Do you think it was because they were also offering me the TL and wanted to wait and see which I chose?

Probably Daffodil..suppose there was no point in sending you the hours for the inbound sales if there was a chance you were going to become a team leader instead
