I'm joining the technical side - I would have gone for whichever they offered me first.
I'm just sat trying to make sure all the paperwork and technical side is sorted. It looks like most of it is now, just waiting for things like disclosure scotland to come back and seeing solicitor which should be done by Monday.
Woudn't mind having longer phone and ethernet leads though but can live without them.Win £2008 in 2008 club member 5360 -

Phone & Ethernet leads can be extended, so that shouldnt cause too much of a problem. Also somebody said that workbooth works over powerline networking so thats another option, but a little more expensive!
As for the Solicitors Verification I paid £5, all they have to do is stamp and sign, ignore all that stuff about it been on letterheaded paper.
If you did your disclosure online and provided everything that they asked for then it shouldnt take more than a week, I had mine next day!!
The systems etc that Technical/Sales use are pretty much the same, just the knowledge and the parts that you use which differs.
So are you looking forward to becoming an @home agent?0 -
Looking forward to it - but like most of us I guess, I'm not doing it for love, but for the extra money which will come in handy.
Assuming we pass - will we start work as soon as the training finishes? If so, I want to make the most of my weekends before I start :beer:Win £2008 in 2008 club member 5360 -

Assuming that you pass what?
With the Sales training, once it is over (4 weeks), you then have nesting which is (2 weeks) then you work to your schedule. I'm not sure if the technical schedule is the same. Weekends arent that bad, sundays are mostly quiet with the odd busy period thrown in.
What hours have they told you that Technical operate? I know sales is 4.30 till 11, is Technical the same?0 -
Pretty much the same hours and same nesting situation, once out of training you go into nesting then into your shifts proper. Getting through training and into nesting is the first "pass" you need to achieve then getting out of nesting you will "pass" another milestone. After that it's a current QA review process for all agents.0

Aaah thanks for that PaulK, we didnt have any reviews etc when i left nesting... a few ttu courses and thats about it lol. But that was for the sales position.0 -
Well I have given up on the process.
I was given a scheduled time for an interview. No-one called.
They rescheduled the interview for a time that I had already told them I was unavailable.
They rescheduled again for another time I had told them I was unavailable. (with good reason - I was away visiting my dad who was in hospital at the time).
I have now sat and wasted time waiting for the mutually agreed telephone call - which was supposed to be at 9pm tonight and has still not yet happened.
I am left thoroughly unimpressed with Teletech, I hope anyone else that applies has a better experience.0 -
Hi
I passed the second interview and i was told that i need log into a online-session. can any1 tell me what that means and do i need a mic for it?0 -
Have been accepted for a technical position, justt received the pack which included the Disclosure Scotland form as I have live in my property for less than 12 months, do you have to get the Countersignature part signed or is this just needed?0

I don't mind being busy. I think it will make the shifts go quicker. It's just the thought of not being able to do anything fri, sat, sun nights - but I guess it just comes with the territory.
They've told us that the shifts will be somewhere between 3-11pm. It will be 4 or 6 hour shifts and definitely 6 hour at weekends. That means a start time of between 3-4:30pm and finshing between 9:30-11pm.
I'd prefer 6 hour shifts than 4 hour because it ties you up for less nights.Win £2008 in 2008 club member 5360
