That sounds good dogsounds. I have my telephone interview on Monday, am a little nervous but should be OK. What questions did they ask? How long did it last?

From what I've read so far none of these jobs have actually started yet, correct? Also I can't see anything on the site about how much is paid, although one poster mentioned an email about approx $9 per hour plus a variable rate. Does anyone know what this variable rate is? I find it hard to believe that so many people are going through the trouble of upgrading PCs, doing assessments, waiting long periods for training without knowing if it will all be worth it.
The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.

There are a lot of people that already work for teletech but there are some of us that can only work certain hours so hope that they become available.

The pay is £6 per hour and is not negotiable. I don't know if the people that actually work for Teletech have had any rise at all.

Is that not what you do for most jobs? Ok you might not have to upgrade your PC, but in my expereince you have to do assessments, wait to find out if your successful and then wait for a start date. Even after all that you don't know if it's going to be worth it, but you go through it anyway because it's what you want to do, no-one is giving any guarantees.

I think it's positive that people are willing to upgrade their PC's for this job. Do you mean to tell me if PC was not upto scratch you would give in at the first hurdle?

Anyway, suppose everyone is different. In my expereince with teletech, a few hours worth of assessment and a few phone calls could make my life alot easier so I for one aint fussed about "knowing if it will all be worth it"

    $9.25 isn't very much though = £4.64

    Minimum wages is £5.52.

Teletech's hourly rate starts at £6-you're looking at US vacancies not UK.
As for "knowing if it's worth it" I've spent £15 on upgrades since I applied to Teletech last year-In a call centre job I may have paid near enough that to get to the interview, spent money on lunches out, fares to and from work, work clothes, birthday collections etc not to mention what the value of travelling in my own unpaid time to and from work each day is worth to me.
Happy 6 months with TeleTech to me-I'm better off working from home-much happier and work with some lovely people. I didn't apply expecting guarantees (just like any other job) but I'm VERY glad I did !

    Hiya guys!!

I missed my interview call today due to my babysitter not turning up!!! so i have arrange another day and time thank god!!!

Just like to know, those who are already working for Teletech, as a CSR, wat kind of calls do u handle? wat is it like? Wat are ur shifts? just curious.

Im a mother of 1 and know wat its like financial wise, if i was working full time, i would be spending more money on lunch food, travel fare, etc, so hopefully working for Teletech will give me more time with my daughter at home, no need to travel lol, save money and most off all wear wat i want!!! lol.

Goodluck for those who are waiting for a reply and those who are already working for Teletech. Oh my interview is with Amy Jaegar, who had her for a phone interview???

My interview is on Monday with Amy, if I have mine before you will let you know how it goes. Would love to get this job, I currently work in a call centre full time taking Mortgage calls, working from home would save me so much money, plus I have a newborn daughter and get to see her more.

The types of calls you can expect to handle and available shifts will be discussed at interview.
Staff are told not to discuss details pertaining to the client as it falls under client confidentiality-so you'd be unlikely to find many of us going into detail-especially on an internet board the company know all about :) but I will say I find the job pleasant if hectic at times
