i phoned the tech support number and they didn't have a fix for it, acknowledged other people to have the same problem and it will be passed on to their colleagues

in other words they don't know how to fix it, and we are probably not going to get a fix

they suggested i use the workbooth cd to connect to meeting place which is what i will have to do

the problem i have with the browser test is it fails at flash com , it times out, also when i install the cisco add in, it think it is still not installed

but i can connect to many other meeting place browser tests that i found via google, teletech is the only one i have a problem with

Thanks for that info. I can also get the test to pass through workbooth but I get an error telling me that my intenet connection is very slow and that my meetings will run very slowly. My broadband speed is 1.81Mps though...surely this is fast enough?

Workbooth hits your bandwidth hard sometimes, you may get away with it but it could create errors and or issues with the meeting place software. Make sure nothing else is running on the line when you are doing the test so that you get as much of the 2Mb as possible.

It's an individual opinion of course but as long as you accept that it is basically call center work with targets and expectations you will have no issues.

Good way of putting it. Everyone goes into jobs with hopes and expectations no matter where and what the job is. I know people who went in with unrealistic expectations-and the job wasn't what they expected. They either adjusted that expectation-or left. For me personally TeleTech have delivered what they said they would-and in some areas exceeded my expectations. Not the "perfect job" (does such a thing exist ?) but personally I'm very content.

if i cant access meetingplace via the link on the email, how do i access it on the workbooth disc? do i need to boot the pc as it says in the booklet, like we did for the pc test?

Yes, boot your pc into workbooth then open firefox from the icon in the bottom left corner. The address for meetingplace is http://meetingplace.teletech.com. Hope this helps!

i have windows xp and vista dual booted, windows xp wont connect to meeting place via the browser, so i tried it on a new untouched install of vista

with firefox and IE7 and both have the exact same problem as windows xp

i know my way around pc's and i am confident the problem does not lie at my end

alternatively i will have to connect via workbooth but it is not ideal as i would like to take notes while i am training and i can type faster than i can write

i do not think i can take notes via a notepad, or print via workbooth
