i have windows xp and vista dual booted, windows xp wont connect to meeting place via the browser, so i tried it on a new untouched install of vista

with firefox and IE7 and both have the exact same problem as windows xp

i know my way around pc's and i am confident the problem does not lie at my end

alternatively i will have to connect via workbooth but it is not ideal as i would like to take notes while i am training and i can type faster than i can write

i do not think i can take notes via a notepad, or print via workbooth
You can't print from workboot unfortunately. Have you tried asking live support? If it is something at their end the more people that tell them the better.

live help desk said they cannot deal with technical problems and asked me to call the technical support line , which i did.

they knew of the problem but had no fix and all they could suggest was to use the workbooth cd

i have no problems connecting to any other meeting place test servers/browser tests etc

You're not alone-a friend who started training tonight just popped up on my messenger to tell me about her first night and she has the same issues.
(I've told her to come on here)
I had issues with meetingplace and it turned out to be a popup blocker I didn't even know I had running (had turned off the other ones) in google.

Wireless no, you can use the router via ethernet but wireless will seriously struggle to cope and you will be told straight off the bat they do not want wireless in use for security reasons too.
Help with the interview? Just think before you answer, don't get flustered, speak clearly (remember this is an interview for a phone based job) and try to sound interested/ energetic etc.
Extension won't matter as long as it's not impacting the quality of the line.
Printer may be needed if you want to print out guides etc but if you have an access to one elsewhere it shouldn't be a problem. Pretty much all guides are online once you are on the support role itself but you may need to printer or hardcopy some info during training to make is easier for yourself.

You can use the ethernet as that is what it is designed for, wireless routers can be used with ethernet or via wireless but for stability, security and bandwidth you will be best off using ethernet while working as it is extremely important that you do not lose connection to the VPN server or all your software tools loaded up will crash and you will then need to reboot the pc to get them back.

Any ideas what i need to do?
    Thanks
