Hi guys have just gone to apply for one of these jobs. However, before I finish my application just wanted to ask a quick question. It is asking me for details of my present & previous jobs- no problems there but will they contact my present job before I accept the job? I do not want my present job to know before I decide what I want to do or am offered the job. Thnx kal25:smileyhea:heart: Mrs Lea Nov 5th '11

Hello everybody,
I have recently been recruited for training by Teletech after going through the interviews. My training starts on 28th April so I guess there might be a few others in the same situation.
I live in Birmingham and was hoping that somebody would help me with the address of a reasonable solicitor. One who would endorse my identification documents needed for the application for a reasonable fee and not a small fortune.
I have read some posts and they mentioned that it was about £7 which is quite reasonable.
Let me know,

Out of interest, what experience have you in Technical Support, Customer Service or Sales?0 -

I am currently in training to be an IT technician, studying MCSE at the moment.
I have worked in retail as a sales assistant, I have also worked as Customer Care in a cyber cafe.
I am not sure exactly what is required but I think the fact that I have a strong grounding in Computers helped me get through the recruitment stage.
I am not sure they are essentially looking for people with IT background though it definitely will help if you do.
I still have to get through the training before I get hired.
Good luck0 -
why not go onto live call -and ask them for an update on your application. tell them you have emailed your recruiter but still no reply. I was in contact with live call during my application process. tell them you were told you would know by 3 days (or whatever) and that it is long past this and you would like to know as you may need to look for another job etc. they should be able to get someone to phone you back fairly quickly
Thanks for taking the time to write auddel, but I've already been rejected! What I'm waiting on is a bit of feedback from them. Here's what I posted on 16/04/2008:I've read this thread from beginning to end.
I applied through the hirepoint website a couple of weeks back, completed PC test successfully, completed skills assessment successfully. Invited to group interview on Friday 11th April at 6pm, then scheduled for one-to-one interview immediately after. Interviewer called me at around 7.15pm, seemed to go fine, then I got a rejection email yesterday and a Workbooth CD through the post.
I don't get it. I have 11 years experience in customer service roles, I'm very technical, I'm available for any shifts (in fact, as many hours as possible), I'm 25 years old (in case that matters?!), and, wait for it, I currently work as a full time tech support agent, in a call centre, for a major UK ISP (one of Sky's major competitors in fact), and have been in this position for the past 18 months! I was prepared to resign from this job and work @home for TeleTech.
Not blowing my own trumpet here, but if experience, flexibility, skill and drive are not the ideal qualities that TeleTech are looking for in their staff it begs there question - just what qualities are they looking for?0
