  • Hi jammin, why don't you email and ask for feedback on why you were unsuccessful in your application? This is quite acceptable these days and stands you in good stead for future interviews.Maybe siranswerer is right though, they may have sent the email in error.Any how email them and let us know how you get on.
    Good luck.

Hello again, I've got a couple more questions!

I did read the whole of this thread before I filled in my original application last week and I've just tried again to get some answers but I didn't get very far!

Do you get paid while you're training?
Can anyone recommend a cheap and reliable router for NTL/Virgin broadband that is a direct connection?...I think the Netgear RP614 was mentioned somewhere because for some reason I've got that written on a post-it note on my desk and I can't remember why?!

I've got the online meeting thingy later today so I might 'see' some of you there!

    Thanks lots.

Yep the RP614 is a good choice

    Training is paid yes,

And if you have any issues today getting to meeting
place meeting, try it with Firefox instead of internet
    explorer, and good luck!

Thanks. I will email them to request feedback and let you know.

Incidentally, the Workbooth CD was dispatched to me Recorded Delivery from Belfast on 11th April. I didn't have my interview until 7.15pm that same day, so evidently Teletech ship the Workbooth CDs before interviewing people.

    Thanks Oliver!

I thought I'd written down the wrong model number when I checked the price of these on Dabs website and then I found them on a couple of other sites.

Thanks for the heads up on IE as well, I think I'll put Firefox in this afternoon...just in case.
  • jammin-i also received the cd a week before my intrview.Had my interview last Tuesday,i was offered the job,but i cannot start at 4:30pm so the recruiter told me she would let me know when there are later shifts available.

CDs are sent out automatically as you cannot access anything on the teletech servers until you get a login account anyway ;)

Yeah it makes sense for the cd to be sent before
any interview because if the pc has any problems running
it, you might not wish to carry on with the application.

    hiya
i had my interview on monday, and was told i would hear today at the latest and havent heard yet,
could this just be that they are behind us in time or just that i havent been succesful?
    thanks
    rach xx
  • Hi,

I was successful with my application, but as the start date of the training was 28th April, I couldn't start with the current group.

So was just wondering how often they have new-start training as I will be ready to commence training 3 weeks after 5th May.

    Any help appreciated :)

Most of the recruiters seem to be west coat based so their working finishes far later than ours.
Their "today" finishes 8 hours later than ours so you may still hear their today :)
