You are supplied with both a telephone and headset at no initial cost. If you leave TT then you are expected to return both, if you don't then you will be charged £100.
Will have to get that verified as that was never mentioned to me when I started up, it may be that if you leave within a certain time frame you have to return the phone system.

i am unable to complete the training that starts on the 14th as i have a flight booked this month (was booked before i got the job). What should I do? Is there definitely a new training date available at the moment?
I was taken off training by the recruiter when I told her of my problem even though I told her that I could maybe adopt an alternative plan. I feel quite suprised that I was told I have been taken off and not been put forward for future training either. I thought the recruiter was there to help a little but instead they show no interest in your query or problem.
Did you tell Teletech that you had the flight booked from the beginning? If not then they cannot let you complete training as you would then be put onto calls in a nesting period, as you won't be there to take the calls in that period there is no point continuing the training at this point.
Best thing you can do is email your recruiter, explain the situation, ask them if you can be put into the first training group when you are back and available again and if you have any other things coming up let them know ahead of schedule.

I had the same issue-I was returning from holiday on the first day of training so had to be rescheduled for a later course. My recruiter did try to get me on anyway-but it was very strict-no missing any days.
I was put on a later course but wasn't advised of the date til later. I'd suggest reminding your recruiter by email after a few days.

Hi everyone, I have an appointment today to get my identity confirmed by solicitor and know it will cost from £7 to £10 - do we get this money back? If so, how do you do it as there is nothing in the pack to suggest this. It would actually be easier (and cheaper) for me to take my passport etc to the Belfast Teletech branch to show them :rotfl:

I have a question regarding the workbooth CD . I managed to get it up and running and passed (by going into the boot setup )

My question is should this now be installed on my PC or what that just for a test .
Sorry if I sound completely thick !
  • Hi all
I had my interview yesterday, and all went well, hopefully. The interviewer told me that they are looking for 3pm starters and, i really cannot do this as i have to pick the children up from school, hubby from work etc.I advised her that i can only start from 5pm,so she told me she would keep in contact once a week incase this changes. What i wanted to know though, and didn't get chance to ask,is,will they tell me if i am hired or not even if the hours are not suitable at this time?
    Thanks

The workbooth CD is not installable, you boot from it each shift you work.

If you have stated you cannot start at the times they are looking for then you will not be hired till there are shifts available that are suitable for you.

As to the cost of getting your paperwork signed, I do not believe you get the cost of this back. It's part of the recruitment requirements as all parts of the recruitment is done remotely and you are not actually interviewed face to face by anyone so this is the only way to be sure that the people sending their details in are the people on the paperwork.

Solicitor will give you a receipt and you send it to teletech. My refund was in with my first wage packet-very quick and easy. If you've not returned your contract yet-put it in with it.

Thanks Duchy and PaulK - still having problems with workbooth cd -still get error message unable to obtain IP address - even tried it on spare laptop (which is also new) but cd did not even run on this- kept going straight to windows. Still waiting on email from tech team- I would have thought that if my laptop had passed the previous technical assessments then I should have no probs - but obviously not. thanks for all your help- everyone in this forum is very generous with their time

You need to change the boot order on the other laptop to boot from
    CD first
