Auddel dont worry to much about your workbooth issue
just start your training as usual, we didn't use workbooth
till the 2nd week of training

most of the training is done in windows from meeting place and on the
    conference call.

Hi Oliver - wow Teletech really needs to give you a payrise you outdo your job by helping people on here :D

Many thanks for helping me find the router - Ive just ordered one and it said it should be here by next weds!

I applied for the customer service role and 'Ellen' during interview had said i would be working in the Technical support - does that sound right lol

She also said she'd email me her details so i could keep in contact with her till the training sessions had been arranged (she said they wouldnt be until the end of the month) but i've had no email :S

I've yet to source a headset telephone as Adsa and Woolies had none :( so need to do some investigating for that too :D but i would have liked to contact her to let her know that even tho my pc had failed i'm taking steps to sort it but not sure how to lol

You don't happen to know who 'Ellen' could be helen tho is lol

On a side note - it may be a nice idea for someone to take all the info in this thread and do a info/faQ post - so that any new 'candidates' interested in applying don't sit like i did for days trawling through all these posts to find the relevant info lol

Feel free to slap me if i'm wrong tho :D it'd do me good haha x

Yep we shall be working in the same place then

She also said she'd email me her details so i could keep in contact with her till the training sessions had been arranged (she said they wouldn't be until the end of the month) but I've had no email :S

Well I would give them more time personally to contact you,
but if your worried just use the live help

I've yet to source a headset telephone as Adsa and Woolies had none :( so need to do some investigating for that too :D but i would have liked to contact her to let her know that even tho my pc had failed i'm taking steps to sort it but not sure how to lol

You don't need to buy a phone/headset you will get that provided

You don't happen to know who 'Ellen' could be helen tho is lol

No I don't sorry, I would wait till you get the router pass your assessment
test and then give them a shout on live-help for info on a training date

    hope that helps abit

Ahh yeah it does hun thanks

I must admit i was a bit aprehensive when she said i was being put through for the techi position as my experience is more software not hardware but i guess thats what the training is for :)

Although the telephone bit didn't lol Do they supply you with the telephone AND headset or just headset as Ellen said i had to purchase a headset enabled telephone - hence my investigations into getting one lol

Thanks for your help your a wee star :T

    by teletech.

You are supplied with both a telephone and headset at no initial cost. If you leave TT then you are expected to return both, if you don't then you will be charged £100.

I was taken off training by the recruiter when I told her of my problem even though I told her that I could maybe adopt an alternative plan. I feel quite suprised that I was told I have been taken off and not been put forward for future training either. I thought the recruiter was there to help a little but instead they show no interest in your query or problem.
They should re-schedule you for another training course...but only they will know when.
