I wouldn't worry littleminx, they don't always ring on the day (or indeed the time) that they say they will!

Just spoken to someone on live chat and they told me i was not scheduled for an interview yesterday:confused: The lady i spoke to,Mary, said that i needed to contact teletech on Monday and find out what is happening.I know i received an email from a recruiter saying that they were giving me the interview, and that i needed to confirm what time i would be available for this.

Sounds like a mix up somewhere, have you got email contact details for Mary? If so email her for information, if not call her up and ask for interview timing details to be sent by email so that there is no further mix up with it.

I might give up myself, as on Tuesday, I applied for a customer service advisor position in a new John Lewis store that is opening here in May, and today I received a telephone call to go for an assessment for the job next Tuesday. If I get offered the job, I will take it as the new store is getting built 2 roads away from where I work, so I wouldn't have far to go. This job is working in the office weekend or evenings.

I will be contacting my recruiter, Lisa, to turn down the job offer as I have got the job at John Lewis:j , I start the job on 21st April, and since I have not heard about a start date from Teletech, my best option is to take this. I was supposed to get weekly emails from my recruiter to let me know the update on when I will start training, but I have only had one email since I was told I was successful.

Think the next training group starts later this month, if you have a confirmed job offer then go for it, Teletech certainly won't hold it against you in any way.

It has probably happened, if you do turn it down due to the the hours offered make sure you are very clear that this is the only reason and that if more suitable hours opened up you would gladly take the oppurtunity.
Are the hours that unworkable you can't take the position and then push to change hours later?
