  • Oliver I started tonight and my head hurts. Thank you for the help. I don't know how you managed to answer all the questions from everybody.
As for the job. I have just come out of training and started my first night tonight. Even though I thought that I understood the training the first night was a shock. I'm sure it will get easier as the days go on. The thing I liked was that it was ok to ask if you were stuck (even on basic stuff that you could not remember because of nerves) and the support was just fantastic. My shift finished dead on 9 and I simply went downstairs and spent time with my family without having to travel home. As for the singing trainer that has been mentioned. I too have had him training me and I have found him to be friendly, really helpful and professional when he needs to be. Tonight on a call he got me out of a hole that I had got myself into. I think it is unfair to criticize him for trying to make the training a bit more enjoyable. He clearly knows his stuff.

LOL I knew there would be at least one from here :)

    Hi Emma,
Great to hear you got through your first night
ok, yes it will all come naturally with experience even though the
training is great theres nothing better than actually learning and doing
the job out in the wild :D , I remember my first couple of nights
I was really nervous too, but before you know it your doing it with
    your eyes closed.

And yep like you have seen theres always dedicated superusers
to help you in the help-rooms, and even if you do get in a pickle we
will pull you out of it no problem at all, anyway I am glad your finding it OK
and already enjoying the fact you can just walk downstairs after work.

Catch you in a helproom soon
