Well i waited for the email, didn't get one,so i emailed them 3 times and still no reply. At 2:15 i received an email from them saying that the meeting had been cancelled and could i be sheduled directly for an interview tomorrow. So i have advised them that i am available between 6pm and 11pm on Friday. Not had an interview for ages,a little nervous but i can handle it,fingers crossed.I did the pc assesment again and this time i got the eamil to say it passed.
Did you find any new info at the online meeting sparklygirl?

Of course we have all trained in the past (when else could we have trained?)-January in my case-and yes I too had the same trainer from your description.
It's my belief the training is NOT spoonfeeding like some other training courses and is better suited to those who don't need that-for the very reason that working from home requires a certain degree of self reliance. It teaches the basics and like most other jobs you continue to learn on the job and have the chance to use your brain. My kind of job.
Of course you are entitled to air your opinion -but so is everyone else-even if our experiences aren't the same.

Hi Chris one of the recruiters told me that they are hiring again for the sales role at the end of May. So I guess the next start date would be around then.

There is no need to be like that. You could have been trained 3 or 4 months ago. Of course it's in the past - jeez.
It's my belief the training is NOT spoonfeeding like some other training courses and is better suited to those who don't need that-for the very reason that working from home requires a certain degree of self reliance.

Its not spoon-feeding is it not? So, when you are following a pre recorded screen which allows you to make no mistakes, you are telling me that you are using your brain and learning through making mistakes?

In my book this is the biggest spoonfeeding session I have ever had.

Now, if you could open up the live system in a training/offline environment and then let people make their mistakes whilst looking around it and navigating it then that would be using your brain and learning.
It teaches the basics and like most other jobs you continue to learn on the job and have the chance to use your brain. My kind of job.

How can you use your brain, you have to follow the call flow system. If its not sorted on there, you have to escalate or if its not supported, you cannot give any more information.
Of course you are entitled to air your opinion -but so is everyone else-even if our experiences aren't the same.

Completely agree and I am glad that I am able to see your opinion.

LMinx - they go through company values, how the company started and how it runs toay. Also benefits were explained. You can also ask questions, but I'm sure they ill get you on another or run through key elements in interview. Will let you know how interview goes.

Had my interview and all went well, however I can't accept a job for the hours they are asking. They want 4:30 starts and with having a little toddler it isn't possible for me to commit. They said they would contact me if any other 7:00pm starts became avaliable. Has anyone else been in this situation and then later been offered a job?
