Can anyone give the people who are awaiting telephone interviews any tips? I have the group online meeting soon and then should (hopefully) be scheduled for an interview. What questions do they ask in the interview?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    :-)
  • anyone in the online/telephone meeting now??
  • Ok another timezone/interactive meeting question.
The rescheduled meeting Im booked onto is 3pm MST, which would appear to be 10pm GMT. Does anyone know if they actually meant 3pm GMT, livehelp dont know and the recruitment person isnt answering emails. Im really confused as they sent me the email with login details last night at 21:45 so it looks like I've missed it
  • Luckily this has just been cleared up by Teletech, times are GMT regardless of the email saying MST/BST
  • A few pages back some people mentioned about a suitable phone from Argos.

I have searched and I can't work out which one would be a good buy..... so can anyone point me in the right direction?

And how does the head set plug into the phone? What sort of connector does the phone have? I ask because I have a nice headphone & mic set that I would be comfortable using.

    Thanks in advance.

I think any of the headsets will be suitable until you receive the one from teletech.

    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6765387/Trail/searchtext>HEAD+SET.htm

This looks good and you could take it back within 14 days for a refund once you get the one from teletech.

The headset doesn't plug into the phone it plugs into your computer which is connected to your phoneline.

If you are confortable using the headphone and mic you already own you may as well use this until your headset is delivered. No need to get a new one then :-).

I got offered the job today, had a phone call offering me the job a couple of hours after the interview. Training is a few weeks away yet and i'm already a little nervous. I hope nothing falls through.

Can anyone tell me what the training involves? Is there alot of practice calls or mainly training for the technical stuff you need to know for broadband support?
  • St8,

I think you may have misunderstood what I was asking.

If I'm right TeleTech needs you to be on the phone and on the computer/online.

So the phone/headset would not plug into the computer but it to your phone.

Or have I got it wrong?

Nope, you have got it right - you have the headset plugged into the phone they send you, and you have to be on your pc as well.
