Hello
First time poster alert!!
I applied for teletech position in October, have completed all assessments and was also invited to online meeting HOWEVER the email address I had to reply to was apparantly not valid?
So I am really looking for any suggestions as to what I should do now.
I have tried livehelp, who dont really know what I sould do, also I have emailed teletech (hboathome@teletech.com) and they did not reply.
I have obviously now missed the meeting and teletech are probably thinking I am no longer interested - which I am , very much.
Any advice much appreciated.0 -

every one that received the job at Teletech had to download a CD that was sent by work tech. I am unable to explain it but it checks that your computer is compatible with the software etc that Teletech use. I don't believe that any one has had any problems regarding this Cd. I know that I didn't.January Grocery 11/3740 -
hi all
this sounds too good to be true.
ok heres my questions:
are you required to provide 3 character refs?
are you required to have a medical and crb check
how soon after acceptance do u start training/working
what type of calls/clients are there
how many calls do you take per evening.
do u need 2 fones or just 1
how easy is it to do this
please email me asap

I gave 3 but they were happy with 2 character refs.
No medical but they do a CRB check.
Pretty soon, normally 1 or 2 weeks.
Depends on contract and we are not allowed to discuss the contracts openlySome are call center technical tier 1 calls for an ADSL provider linked to satelite TV though.
Number of calls vary but when busy 5-6 an hour is average but it's often not that busy.
1 phone and they provide it after training, during training you may want to invest in a cheapo handsfree unit from Argos.
It's relatively easy as long as you concentrate, listen and retain info well.0 -

The CD is a bootdisk based on linux and you are asked to run it to check for compatibility at the start of training as they need to be sure your pc can run a linux based operating system without losing things like network connection devices etc. The CD itself that we run for work creates a VPN (secure network connection) to the servers at Teletech and also holds some of the software tools we use, without this you cannot work at all.0 -
