    Hello

I have my interview in about an hour!

What should I expect? how long does it last? what type of questions do they
    ask?

    Thanks

    Hope im not too late.

Dont panic its pretty straight forward and easy going. A couple of interview type questions; I was asked what interests me about working at home, whens the last time I dealt with a difficult customer and had to tell them about a situation where I had to say no to a customer.

Also general questions about your working environment and your availability.

Best of luck - only takes about 10 mins!

She specifically asked if it was cable due to "security risks" its not really worth the expense for me at the moment to get a BT line installed for a part-time job

I needed a phone line installed as I didnt have one before. I waited until I was offered the job before I ordered it. I think it will be a good investment as the first week of training will pay for it and it means I dont need to use my next door neighbours wireless internet anymore! :D

Thanks for the info. The interview went well - Will need to wait for some forms that need to be filled in and returned. Should be starting training in early January.

Not sure of what hours yet but was told if i chose to work after 5 or 6 pm then I would have to work both Saturday and Sunday.

What is the training like? has anyone failed to get past the training stage?

Well done sounds like you were offered the job in the interview? Congrats :T

Im waiting for the forms too. I hope they come soon. One of my references was contacted today which was good to know.

I thought all shifts would mean you are working after 5pm. I was told they are between 3pm - 11pm. Do you mean if you choose to start your shifts after 5 or 6 you will need to work sat and sun?

Im also interested in what trainings like. Theres some messages about 30 pages back that were written while some people were in the middle of training!

    Hiya,

Yes I have been offered the job. I still need to email the talent aquisition person my references, 2 Personal and 2 professional. I think I will have difficulty getting them anytime this year seeing as everyone is busy at this time of the year.

Do they just validate the references? I thought they would have just phoned the referees I had mentioned in the start of the application process, rather than me having to email the references across.

If you start your shift at 5 or 6pm then you have to work both Saturday and Sunday.

I have asked the talent aquisition person if it is possible to work more than just 30 hours? Its just that if I can work from 3pm till 11pm each day. It will allow me to quit my current job and start doing some type of college course during the day - But I think thats just a dream!

Yes Lizzy I am still finding it great and enjoying not having to waste
time and money travelling to work,

Also the job involves giving technical support for a large broadband supplier
and the training will cover your duties well so you don't need to be a
    PC genius
