It's The Grosvenor. Not one I would really recommend.

In general you will probably do better waiting nearer the time to get good secret hotels. However it looks like there are still a few 1/2 price Hilton deals available. Via lastminute Hilton Canary Wharf is £91 inc breakfast (not secret), maybe not central enough for you though. Hilton Kensington is available as a secret hotel for £90 exc breakfast.

Also, Club Quarters Gracechurch and Club Quarters St Pauls are available for £106 each (not secret). They are both decent but the rate doesn't include breakfast. Crowne Plaza Shoreditch looks to be £104 which I think includes breakfast (unsure).

There are a few other good hotels available in the £100-140 bracket (Apex City of London, Cranley, Rafayel on the Left Bank, couple of Park Plazas & Hiltons, Mint Westminster, Grand at Trafalgar Square, Melia White House) but I feel if you wait till soon before your stay should be able to get a perfectly good hotel for £100 or less. So I recommend you wait. There is a reason it's called lastminute!

Beautifully refurbished Belgravia boutique hotel - 4* - London

This superb boutique hotel has been recently refurbished and offers great facilities. All the rooms are equipped with a safe, air conditioning and Wi-Fi internet access. The hotel features a bar and restaurant and is located just a short walk from Victoria station

    Thanks Peeps
  • I was thinking of booking this one:

"This amazing 5 star hotel in the heart of all that's London is within walking distance to Tower Bridge, Tower of London, St Pauls Cathedral & Tate Modern. With the tube on the hotels' doorstep, the West Ends shopping & theatre district can be reached within minutes as well as the O2 Arena only a short trip away."

I have searched this thread but couldn't see anything that confirmed which hotel it was, although someone thought it was the Andaz Liverpool Street? Any ideas or thoughts??

    Many thanks!

Tophams Hotel, really really bad. Please take a look through the last few pages if you want to save yourself the wait of a reply, this one's come up a few times recently.
