    Same here.

TalkTalk have lied to MSE to gain free positive publicity while reneging on their promise of free upgrades for existing customers.

What is MSE going to do about this?
  • Hi all, thanks for the feedback. I've actually been in touch with TalkTalk as we were made aware of this earlier. I'll keep you posted once I hear back. Many thanks, MSE Paloma

Got to agree , I am more frustrated with this hype and false promise's than ever - RUBBISH all round
  • Dear MSE - ONLY 2 offers available to me - miss representation of the goodwill offers in my opinion.

Imagine getting 100 mins, 250 texts and 200 MB data, for nothing every month for a whole year. That's exactly what you get with this upgrade.

Ha Ha Ha - I already have a mobile are they going to pay my ee cancellation charge.

If you want to make sure your TalkTalk kit is all hooked up and working the best it possibly can, this service is invaluable. You'll get a home visit from a friendly TalkTalk Bright Sparks engineer, who'll check your home is set up to receive the best TalkTalk service.

Ha Ha Ha - my broadband works thank you

Yet again, TalkTalk have lied to MSE.

They said the issue was resolved at 6pm. It is now 20:39 and nothing has changed on the "My Account" page. There is still a missing option (UK & mobile calls).

When will TalkTalk stop misleading MoneySavingExpert and its millions of users?

I struggled to upgrade online until I used the Safari browser on my Mac - neither Chrome nor Firefox would work.
Later, we called TalkTalk to cancel my mother's existing anytime calls boost - we were told we may then later be able to opt for the anytime calls boost freebie but it wasn't guaranteed. 90 minutes or so after our call, I logged into my mother's account and there was the anytime calls boost on her upgrade page.
So yes, it worked for us - although you do need to call TalkTalk to cancel your current anytime calls boost first.

Perhaps they have blocked choice from you because they suspect you are a fraudster gaining unauthorised access lol

I could easily see TT blocking its own IP addresses, because lets face it they are and always have been hopeless.

Long term TT will get bought out, the company is a farce but its assets are there for cherry picking...Vodafone non BT Wholesale broadband is small in comparison but with alot of spending money I speculate at this moment whilst TT is battered publically its ripe for a low purchase price compared to before the hack.

A new owner and rebrand with customer service training in the UK TT could thrive, it wont happen under Dildo Harding who for years has not tackled the problems but just been a public face to the TT brand.

Whilst CPW Dunstone has TT shares I would never return, its current debt is 650million, customers are treated like debt service customers not actual customers.

A freebie as compo from a hack turns into as much controversy as the hack itself, what a shambles of a CEO.

Poor you lot of TT customers.
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

These are the only two options i am being offered. I dont want either of those, i want the anytime free calls, worth £7.50 per month. Talktalk gave me three months worth of anytime calls for free when they took away my free calls months back.

I really feel cheated by this company. My details WERE HACKED form talktalk. This is such a shambolic arrangement. Customers should be able to choose any of the four options, "pre-selected ones"

I am once again disappointed with this company
Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!

Interesting - I checked mine this morning and I don't have the option yet (as above I got TT to take the anytime calls boost off yesterday).

I couldn't find how to check what boosts I've got, have they taken this off as part of their "slimmed down" online site?
