It just depends who you talk to on the day?
If they were as bad as the press et.al say, I wouldn't have stayed with them 15 years, and renewed for another 18 months.
    I don't suffer fools gladly.
Hope you get what you want.

I agree, they are not perfect by any means but most of the time I have found them to be the best overall value for money of any of the providers. I was with talktalk for a long time and then surprisingly at renewal time Sky were offering a better deal. Several months down the line Sky hiked their prices so I have just moved back to talktalk again!!
  • The only upgrade I'vebeen offered is £5 off a month for 3 months.
    What a joke.
Am going to leave them now. Was only staying to see what they'd offer me. £15 is pitiable.
  • Has anyone been able to negotiate a free upgrade to fibre?
  • Is it me or have the upgrade offers changed from what was published before ?

I just noticed exactly the same strange thing.

The time terms have been added at each supposed offer. But what is weird, that the offer for "Unlimited UK landline and mobile calls" now has a word "SIM" added at the end. Does this suggest, that there will be two SIM offers and no offer for landline only (with fibre broadband in my case) customers as a remedy?

Does look like a very ugly attempt to make their remaining customers look stupid... :(

I might wait until the 9th December, when they say these so called offers will be available online in MyAccount and see if a call to CS might do any better.

  • Does anyone know if the previously advertised "Unlimited UK landline and mobile calls" has to be honored by talktalk as they are now offering "Unlimited UK landline and mobile calls SIM" instead.

Talktalk at their best - It has been reworded back this morning -Excluded the word "SIM"
  • I'm on a free anytime call package until March and talktalk will not let me take up this upgrade

as I'm in need of a Sim, that's the only free thing of any use to me. does anyone know anything about them?
Does it include free calls, texts.
    I don't use smart phones.
I want one to leave in the car, in case of emergency.

    are their Sims locked to a certain provider,as all my spare phones are EE, but got old unlocked Nockia which will do;
There's no bumf how to collect, unless I,ve missed it.
OR, is it a sprat to catch a mackeral.
I've just checked my SLIM version of MY account, it only tells me my last bill, which has been paid last month, nothing about my NEW contract, recent calls etc.
Methinks they have lost the lot.and having to start from scratch?
