Oh dizzy poor you, I hope it misses you.
Well my house doesn't seem to look any better, despite barely sitting down all day. This morning was spent taking things back, finishing the Littlies Xmas shopping and popping to morrison$, to be served by the absolute slowest checkout person ever!!!! Since home I have, done the washing up, hung up the washing, changed May's bed, put all the vast amounts of washing away, clean the bathroom and floor and bath and feed the Stinkies, but that's about it. Will hVe to tidy up tomorrow, have crawled into bed now, have got the littlies cold so feel rather yuk and have stinky work tomorrow 'sigh'0 -
well I am here...doubt I will get much flying done but hey ho

"I'm feeling like a Monday but someday I'll be Saturday night" - Bon Jovi0 -
Avon books sorted for DIL
kitchen cleared a bit more.
Added another page to my facebook.. for those on there.. apologies for spammage but I am trying to pay for Christmas and a solicitor and my house repairs.. I still have a wide open fireplace letting rain in.. I need about £5000 to sort it out but I am trying!
My kitchen is looking so much nicer.. I have the old fridge freezer leaving at the weekend.. and if I need another I will get one that is a lot prettier! that one is rather gross but going to reside in a shed so I doubt they'll mind too much.
My poorly tum is still crampy but I just appear to have more wind than hurricane Henry!!! lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Oh piggers it's yuck, that's how I've been, horrible cramps but not the *ahem* obvious d&v symptoms. I found it better not to eat for a few days and I've been able to get back to normal food today. It's truly horrible- esp when you need to sleep xxx
I've done sweet fa, late out of work so didn't get any shopping, we have no bread and I've resorted to my UHT milk supply
DD sent to school on Calpol today (bad mother) she's been ok but temp of 39.1 tonight. Dosed her up for bedtime so she's fast asleep but very sweaty - hair all wet. Thankfully not her tum I hope she's escaped that. But a cough and fever for her. MIL is here and will decide in morning if school is happening or not. Gah.
Happy new furries-day froddington
I suspect flying might be off until Wednesday here...Bossymoo

Evening all :hello:
Sorry I'm soo late but I am here nowThanks Natty for this week's thread and Bossy for last week.
Sending gws vibes for all the poorlies and hope you stayed dry Dizzy. Well done with the Christmas cake CY - I love it but will not be making one as I've given up sugar and no-one else eats it
I stayed in all day waiting for my new freezer, which never arrived so a bit peed off  I phoned them, they apologised but don't seem to know what's happening and sent me £8 as compensation - hardly think that covers a whole day and no promise of when !!!
I couldn't do the LR today as half the spare room is in there so the chaps could get the freezer in more easily haha, and didn't do the hall either as I'm sure they won't wipe their feet on the way through. So I did the kitchen and bathroom instead.

That's why we got rid of our juicer. I love the idea of drinking juice a lot, but not the cleaning of the machine! :rotfl:
Dizzy - Hope you stay safe!
Today was lost to cuddling the dog who wanted lots of attention including sleeping across my lap or work. I've got my orders sorted out, but thats basically it. DD helped me go to Mr A as bulky stuff was needed. I just seem to have wasted an entire day that I could have done without wasting.
Tomorrow I have to run errands. I have to pay money into the bank and return stuff then a load of other errands as well as make sure my paid work is done by 9.30pm (deadline is 10pm but I like to play it safe!).
My quiet week is filling up as my landlady knocked to check on whether the gas company had been in touch about replacing our boilerApparently she's got us a really good one as I'm such a good tenant
She also wanted her husband to pop in and fit a carbon monoxide alarm that would only take 5 minutes as it's just 2 screws. I said if it was that simple I could do it, which would save the dog and her husband getting stressed out with him being here. The smoke alarms currently up I've refitted as well as the thermostat for the heating so its not like I've not done it before :rotfl: Thats on the 'urgent' list for Wednesday night when DD gets in and I've had a chance to read the instructions so I position it correctly.
Oh well, I'm going to potter around my desk area clearing hot spots while I wait for my phone to finish charging. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning all. I'm up really early as OldDog started howling when DH left for the paid stuff.
Finances already sorted which look as bad as Piggers bank account but like LW I've also just booked next year's holiday.
CY - well done on the Xmas cake - mine is already BOUGHT, bad me.
Hope all the poorlies are feeling a bit better and that Dizzy didn't get flooded.
Plan for this morning is to do the dailies (I got nothing done before the paid stuff yesterday), tidy and clean in the gym and then take a look at the list (thanks Natty for that).
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0
