Right so I'm taking inspiration from Mrs Moneypenny and as I don't crochet, I'm going to watch a film.

Well I've sorted the nursery stuff and put it all back. Pictures drawn by babies four years ago for their daddy is not what I need to see this week. Then a photo of him falls out (what's it doing in there?) and I pick up the box of flash cards, which is open at the bottom. Of course the card that falls out also says "daddy" at which point that's me done.

I realise in doing all this stuff this weekend I'm running away from the inevitable, so I'll stop now.

I'm going to try practice a bit of that mindfulness over the coming week, maybe I can stop this emotional brace position for the thing that already happened.

But you know we are here for you! As we are for all Flyladies. Feel free to rant/vent as appropriate!

Bossy sweetie I seem to remeber that the week before a big day is always harder for you than the day itself, you have come so far but it is fine to go back a little too. Sending you a hug.

CY brilliant to hear you are getting your strength back.

The wind has dried the garden out so I've cut all our lawns and next door's too, bins are stuff to capacity as over overflows and compost. DH tidied up the hedges and took that lot to the dump with his old car bonnet.

Two loads of washing dried on the line.
Cat beds all changed and washed.

I'm exhausted now. Just having a cuppa then I need to go and buy something for dinner, cook muffins, do the ironing, file my tax return aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh and so on.

Bossy - as Dusty says it seems to be the anticipation that hits you so hard. You are in our thoughts (as are all flyladies because this is such a supportive community). Also thinking of Cycling (good progress - great to read!), LW (tree full of sticks thrown) and FBO - wishing you continued success fighting your demon)

Cleaned out rabbit hutch. Left rabbit 'safely' locked in run section. Rabbit had other ideas. Think he was free for an hour or more. Rabbit retrieved from neighbours front garden (and we are 'open plan' with no garden walls/fences on the front ) with neighbours help! Rabbit herded onto back garden then chased around until he went in his hutch.
NDN had seen people pointing at something...we now assume these people had seen the rabbit but never thought to knock on a door to see if anyone's rabbit had escaped!

Boot full of stuff for chazzer.
    DS's room cleaned, bed remade.
Heap of carp (in DDs room) reduced by one bootful!
I now have a really useful box full of jam jars (eat your heart out HB;)) which can go under the stairs; the full jars will now occupy the jam jar shelf.
One jar of red chilli jam taken to NDN's; they are also promised a jar of pickled onions.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

A film has been watched. I'm now going to feed the dogs. After that DH should be home so it will be time to start on tea.

See you all on the new thread.
