Outside of fridge decluttered and wiped down. I'm having a coffee before I tackle the top and the inside. Not had a drink yet today...

It's grim out - very wet and very windy. Could really do with popping out for bread but I'll reconsider - kids are away tomorrow so I could postpone and do a shop on Sunday before they get back...

Fridge sorted. Will do freezer this weekend. Including the defrosting

Used up veg in fridge so having sweet potato and butternut squash for lunch and veg casserole for later with the pulled pork that's currently in the slow cooker :T

Not that the kids will eat it :( I've kept some spuds back so might make wedges and they can try some pork.

I'm going to tidy the mess I've made in the kitchen then head upstairs to do my room. And if I've time I'll start in the dining room.

Quite looking forward to a peaceful weekend...oh I need to pack pjs and stuff too :)

Ironing done. Took me until midday to do it and put it away due to my phone going non-stop.

I've put some sausage on to cook so I can give the dog another dose of meds before I go out. We haven't left him on his own in the evening yet except when we've been to shopping or out at work when we're back and forth a lot. I'm not sure what time I'll be home so to have him chilled out is to his advantage. I'll still leave his classical music on turned up to drown out the noise outside as much as possible as its very windy here and there's a gate blowing free and therefore banging a few doors down. It'll also help when ex comes for DD ;)

Due to how long it's taken I'm scrapping doing all the lists. Next job I think is to remake the beds and have my bath. Looking around the house is okay except for some muddy paw prints and a quick swish while I wait for the sausage will deal with those. I feel like I'm forgetting something. I'm not sure what but I just have a feeling I am.

I best get moving. I need to clean the bathroom before I can have my bath. The workmen emptied something into it and there's ick all over it. Why they couldn't empty it into the toilet like other workmen have done I don't know. :(

Well my kitchen is looking good and so is my bedroom, and my knicker drawer, lol.

Not been in dining room yet, and I've to go get the littlies soon. I hope the rain stops - too windy for umbrellas and rain doesn't put DD in a happy place. I'll take a carrier bag with hats and mitts and the book bags can go in that - we've had some pretty heavy downpours here today...

Onesies are on the radiator for the kiddies - and I'll do some warm milk when we gat home :)

Spoke to mum, they are back from hols. Step dad will have a look at the guttering between LR a and conservatory - I can't reach it, and being a builder /roofer he'll know what to do :A

Right, I'll go find my boots and anorak _pale_

Ds1 is safely back in his uni halls.
Camhs meeting attended. They are giving the impression that they are trying to get ds2 to say he doesn't want to see them. They say they only have 5 sessions so won't be able to do much. Grrr
Christmas wrapping paper purchased and I have found a nut free selection box :)

CAHMS seems a bit pointless here too dancemum by the time the child has opened up (if they do) the sessions aware over. Not exactly helpful :(

So glad to be home! Doors are locked, blinds are down, kids in onesies, kettle boiled and a movie on :D

My tea is sorted so just have to make kiddies, and we are all having a nice warm bath each later. Bliss. Hibernation. If only for a night :)

I'm not doing any more flying tonight other than perhaps a small wash load. DS has new school books to read but DD doesn't (both her teachers been off sick for 2 days). No matter, I will do them both some homework and she can read one of our own books.

I am no longer a teacher in whose class a child has never vomited. And it took the TA and me to clean up the resulting mess; bag the vomited-on soft toys (for they were all in pjs with teddies etc for children in need) and restore order. At one point I was comforting the child, facing the other way (for I don't do vomit) and trying to keep the rest of them busy. Fortunately it was music, they were learning nativity songs and I deputised a bright Y1 to keep restarting one or the other of the two tunes we had learned thus far. I girded my loins (having opened the windows) and mopped and swabbed like a good 'un. It took two of us 20 minutes...

I just hope I can keep my vomit-free school trip record!
