Good morning everyone, I had a busy day yesterday, however I now have a lot of half done jobs, so will need to see what I can actually get completed today. I didn't get much done last night, as we decided to have our bonfire and fireworks,as we missed the proper date last week due to DS2 being in hospital.

Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Dusting, even if around everything
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Water any thirsty plants, wipe their poor neglected leaves!!
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. wash any that need washing in preparation for cold weather!! See if there are any that don't fit, past their best or just plain uncomfy which could leave the house!
Put up linings or winter curtains to keep out those draughts.
Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    Clean a window or two.
Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
Clear as may hotspots as you can.. see if you can get it all into one pile instead of 15!!!

    Ello!

I was with you, jj Productive day here! DD was ok-ish when she woke so gone to school. And quiet word had with teacher. But not heard anything so assume she's been ok. Will keep dosing her up for another day or two yet.

Got subbutteo out of loft to look at tomorrow. Had hair cut and did bit of grocery shopping. Purchased much needed mattress topper for my bed. Had lunch then I've cleaned the car out as it was bright and forecast is now rain for days and days :o so I've put the winter box in the boot, cleaned under the kids car seats and WD40d the driver side lock as it kept sticking. In fact, it took 20 seconds to fix something that's annoyed me for about a year :o

Ive also put damp traps in the garden storage and fastened them properly shut again, and put some food out for the birds. Squashed some packaging for the green bin and put the bins away. Emptied and washed kitchen bin.

And just on time, it's gone rather dark here!

Just having a coffee now. Weather app says it shouldn't rain until 5pm but it's not looking promising out there! I shall find my long anorak and take a plastic bag to put the book bags in...

  • Good afternoon all.

Just popping in to say hello. I had a lovely meet up with Ionafan this morning. She dutifully passed on all the Flylady hugs.

It was lovely to go into town today and feel confident on my own. Another sign of progress!!

Situation sorted vibes to Pigpen. Hope little miss Moo improves soon. Bossy we must sort out a meet up soon...

Now I have to hear to the garage of doom. It may be 26' long, but it is full of stuff.... but tonight I have to fit in a fridge freezer which is being stored for someone..
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

LW, please keep posting as much as you can when the BD is pestering you and we'll all throw some big sticks to lure him away from you.
I think we may need the best part of an Ancient Oak Tree for this one. I dunno what's wrong with me; I know November's a slack time, but I still don't cope well with no dog. Definitely missing the 14-year-old blonde we had staying last week. 12 hours a day stuck here on my own just stretches out in front of me like a big gray expanse.
I think, too, the hair-loss is really getting me down; it just isn't abating at all.

I'm gonna shut up now, I really, really don't want to drag the Fred down.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Evening all.

Omg not posted since Monday and not done any flying to speak of either. Don't know what is wrong with me. LW it may partly be the time of year, I think that is possibly why I am so unproductive. I wish I could lend you my dog, but I don't think you are local.
CY you sound great, it really made me smile, glad you had a good meet today.
piggers tiles are fab! I am jealous. Our kitchen is horrid. There is a hole in the ceiling. Dd got a big helium balloon at her birthday party and I have placed it under the hole.

Right, that's it, stop playing with Internet and get flying. Will report back with progress.

Just a quick post as I grab some tea between the train and choir practice. I had a lovely day and I can confirm that CY is blooming again :D We talked non-stop for just over an hour, then I went to lunch with my SiL (she was pleased to see me too).

Got home to find an unexpected cheque in the post, a refund from the A1 scheme that Martin :money: has been telling us about in his newsletter - yippee! :j

Pigpen    Knot unravelling vibes in abundance [all fingers crossed for you]

Must dash now - back later for a proper round-up of everybody else's flying.

    That's good news dancemum xx

School club meeting and beavers decluttered. Piece of work I've been waiting for arrived at 10 past 8 this evening it's just entirely unacceptable. I'm raging. And what they've sent is such shoyte too. Fingers crossed it shows them up more than me...

Anyhow. DD has gone to bed with some medicine so hoping for a better sleep for her - she has been tired today. Got clothes out and tombola prizes - non uniform tomorrow although not fancy dress, just everyday clothes.

And now I'm giving up. I have a day at home tomorrow with rain forecast so I'll spend the day flying I think.

    Night all xx
