Go you, jazee I can't seem to motivate myself into exercise at the mo. Maybe I'll drag the wii fit out...

Bossy, it's only come about because of the recent trying to do up an item of clothing over my stomach. I was actually screaming with the frustration of it.

Dogs are walked. I'm just having an early lunch before tackling the hoovering/sweeping/mopping through the house.

  • Throwing it down here! so an indoor day beckons, I think.

after an early lunch I shall aim to sort some ironing. I need to be able to stand if I want to go back to work and this is good practice.

DD2 is still in bed. She thought they were going Christmas shopping yesterday and headed into town in a dress and tights. They ended up at York City, and she was still cold hours later....

Hope everyone is safe given the weather forecast. Scary times.

Last night I managed to find the energy to prep another load of cooking apples for jelly (chilli jelly) - I probably have enough now - but I still have lots of apples.

I also cleaned the bathroom and kitchen.

I want to turn DS's room around. I need to go to town tomorrow so I will do his room today.

I also want to sort through the junk.

Going back to work sounds really promising CY it's good to hear you feel up to thinking about it!

I've sorted DS bed and wardrobe, and DD wardrobe so we are faidly straight upstairs. Having another coffee and going to watch a carpy festive film while I sort this box of nursery paperwork.

Then I'm going to get the vac out - again :o

  • Things definitely sound like they are getting better for you CY which is great news.

OH and I are supposed to be sorting out the cupboard in the utility room. We have storage boxes in there full of gibble which is hard to sort. We keep finding keys that we just dont know what they are for as well as unidentifiable bits of plastic and chargers that must belong to something.

Better shift myself, its raining again I think and I put the washing out which was probably a silly idea but the wind was blowing!

Me again. House hoovered/ & mopped, rubbish out for bin men tomorrow, recycling sorted. Fourth and final load of washing is in machine.

I'm about to walk the dogs again while its dry. When I get back I will be taking inspiration from this thread as to what to do next, so I hope you're all planning an afternoon of DVD watching, reading, doing hobbies, facials and creating beautiful nails.

Thinking out loud. Feel free to scroll by :o

Well I've sorted the nursery stuff and put it all back. Pictures drawn by babies four years ago for their daddy is not what I need to see this week. Then a photo of him falls out (what's it doing in there?) and I pick up the box of flash cards, which is open at the bottom. Of course the card that falls out also says "daddy" at which point that's me done.

I realise in doing all this stuff this weekend I'm running away from the inevitable, so I'll stop now.

I'm going to try practice a bit of that mindfulness over the coming week, maybe I can stop this emotional brace position for the thing that already happened.

Bossy, it's another anniversary, another year passed so it's not going to be an easy week for you. Lots of hugs coming your way from here. Be kind to yourself.
