Sounds like the ideal solution, bossy ;)
  • Good evening. Just checking in to let you know I am okay.

I had a good night's sleep last night and first thing this morning I was trying to work out exactly how I felt.

It took me a while to work out that the word I wanted was NORMAL!!!!! This is the first time I have felt like this since mid July. I did several loads of washing, made some Pudsey biscuits for Children in Need and cycled to the local shops. I also cooked a spaghetti Bolognese for tea and managed to walk to Slimming World. For the first time since July...

Needless to say I am tired now, but happily tired. Now have my feet up watching Lewis..

Hope everyone is having a good week..

    What a day.

Ds1 came home yesterday. About 8am this morning he collapsed in our bathroom. It was difficult to open the door. He then staggered in to my room and commandeered my bed. I managed to get him an appointment at the docs. He has a virus and swollen glands.
Ds2 was ranting and having m meltdown. I bustled him on to his bus and rang the school.
Checked up on the dancegran & pops.
Had to reschedule hair cut for 3rd time and ended up with the junior stylist.

    My bed changed
3 charity bag filled and are ready to go out in the morning.

Ds2 is a bit better this evening and has eaten. I think he won't be getting his train tomorrow though.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Errands have been run, except one which I couldn't be bothered doing. I'll do it next week or the week after instead as it's not time sensitive. Loaded up with meat at the factory butchers again for £40 :D I got 9lbs of sausage, 5kg of chicken breasts, 1.3kg black pudding, 2x1kg gammon joints and an oxtail. This should easily last until Christmas as long as I can convince DD that having 8 sausage on a plate does not constitute a meal when she decides she wants to make tea.

I added in a trip to the vets and got an estimate for the dog getting the snip (£40 all in due to being entitled to help from the Dogs Trust) as well as some more information about what it entails. While I was there I picked up some calming meds for him to take for the rest of the week while the workmen are here replacing the boiler. He's now switching from hyper and wanting to go upstairs to jump on DD to sleeping on the sofa and back again. I'm hoping tomorrows dose will make him more prone to being relaxed. Of course no where has the plug in adaptors in stock due to bonfire night :(

Wednesday is going to be playing catch up day and making sure all the laundry is done as well as my room cleared where necessary to allow the workmen in there on Thursday. I'll also need to bath the dog. I've had a bad cold and not been able to smell anything properly so didn't realise until DD mentioned it before that he smells of sick :( I thought it was his breath yesterday but she said its him not his breath.

Now I best head to bed. I'll post a list in the morning when I've had a think. First job will be to do the ironing as DD needs a blouse for school.

Oooh tilees Pigpen, Are you sorted enough for him yet?
Yaaaaaay CY for feeling normal that's great!
    Hugs for poorlies
Unfortunately lists did not get done. I did do bank and shopping and go and see poorly grandpops, and throw some food at the littlies, but I felt awful by 6pm. Very Prob too much coffee and too much running around. So fell asleep at 7.30, hence my awakeness now, wondering whether to get up and start cleaning/clearing? Going to be tired tomorrow!!!

I think so... we are having him start behind the cooker because the tiles need to be central there.. then working to the right (the tiles are stacked to the left) then doing the bit by the back door and round by the table and finally the bit to the left of the cooker and then lastly using up the remaining tiles behind the cooker.. in my head it will all go to plan.. in reality I'll be 25 boxes of tiles short run out of sparkly grout and the cooker will explode..

I've got ebay sales to package and post and parents 'evening' at noon .. looks like a fun filled day.. not sure what time Tiler will be done so dinner may be a takeaway.. :p .. I have £758.41 just from ebay this month!! and I never bought a single thing to sell this is all just from my clutter!! I also sold around £200 on the local pages .. and have a LOT more to go.. next week I intend going through all the photo albums and putting everything into one folder then sorting by gender and size and getting it all listed separately.. I WILL have order and Christmas and a decent fireplace and wallpaper in this house.. it WILL be nice!

CY... delighted to hear you feel normal.. and getting out on your bike!! Amazing... let it continue xx
