Morning Everyone

I've got a bit of a dodgy tummy this morning though....but hopefully that will sort itself out across the Day....
Also...I'm Potting £2.70 this morning....
Welcome to the Newbies....you are most Welcome here....and we would love to see you save LOADS across the next Year...
*Hugs* to anyone that needs it.....May have something to Pot later on when I get home from London.... xXx0 -
Potted €3 into our pot! Will have to get more crafty with potting as I'm finishing up work in 2 weeks for a while! Very scary indeed!
OH is currently being put forward for a few jobs which means that we will be deciding on whether we are staying or moving to another country in the next few weeks - slightly stressful! I'm trying to help out by preemptively organizing but there is only so much you can do unless you know for definite that we will be moving!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Helloooooooo potterssssssssss
I'm very excited as our L1dl store has finally opened in the next townso just 5 mins up the road instead of the 60 odd mile round trip to the other one
. Sooooo going there this week!
Carbootcrazy, I'm with Barclays and they take all my bags of change as long as I pay them into my account then withdraw the money (presumably to do with money laundering or some such) so only one trip too town, before that I used to change up at natwest who were happy to take all correctly filled bags, or the post office would take a few at a time.
Arghhhh! I did my potting last night, and only went and put my £2 coins in the shrapnel tin and the shrapnel in the £2 coin tin! hopefully all my £2 coins won't take offence at mixing with the riff raff for 11 months! On the plus side, 4p roadkill found in tesc0 self service machine :j :j now safe and warm with the £2 coins :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
If you could please add me to the list? I will start me off with a few pennies and loose change from my previous pot and I would like to target £100 please.
I bank with Natwest and they have Pay-In machines where you can just throw your coins in - perfect for the lazy ones like me :PDebt Free Wannabe (Since 12/15 - Target 06/17). I bank with HSBC and they have coin machines at larger branches that you can use to pay in any amount of coins.
Thankfully, my local branch is one of those.
(There is no up-to-date list published online, but if you use the HSBC online chat they will check which branches near you have that facility)Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

Another pound potted this morning, I was looking for my daughters shoes in the car and came across a stray and lonely pound coin hidden in the metal bars by the passenger seat. God bless my OH and his fantastic gift of dropping change out of his pockets when sitting in my car! I've always managed to find a pound coin for the trolley after he has been in the car! Lol I must stop borrowing change from him as he will start to be more careful with his money!!!
Well now it is sitting nicely with the other change in the pot so it's not so lonely anymore!
I'm not planning to spend anything today so shouldn't have any more to pot for a couple of days. But I may have to take the OH out for a drive when I know he has lots of change in his pockets!
Yes, I may have to try the lemon juice. I do have apple cider vinegar in the cupboard somewhere so could always try that as well. Thank you to who ever suggested it! I can't remember who it is and it's not too easy to search on my phone whilst typing messages!
Happy potting people! XSPC 9 - No 5430 -
Thanks very much to everyone who has posted which banks do/don't take lots of cash:T
I bank with Nationwide now I'm on a DMP (had to open a 'clean' account with someone I didn't owe any money to;)). The nearest branch is 16 miles away and I've never even set foot in it as I do all my banking online (or by post if anyone sends me a cheque). Not sure if they take cash in large amounts over the counter or not.
My original bank is Lloyds and the account is still classed as 'open' but I owe most of my debt to them so I don't pay in anything much as they are entitled to use it towards the debt:eek:. I know they only took 3 or 5 coin bags at once last time I tried (back in the day before my DMP when they were my only bank) and I was wanting to deposit car boot takings.0 -

I put a pursefull of change in my holding pot when I got home today:j. It's a very small purse and it wouldn't close! I'm not making the mistake again of potting all my change into my sealed pot as I have a feeling I may need some of this last batch long before payday;)0
