Found 2p on the floor after re-arranging my room, so in the pot it goes!
Going to wander around the (very small) Glasgow Christmas Market and then go to the cinema with S later, so should have some change afterwards.Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

Afternoon everyone, I hope you're all having a lovely day, lovely and sunny here and I'm hoping you've all got the same. {{{Hugs}}} to all those with illness, colds etc...just be sure to keep away from me!!!!
Get well soon!
hummingbird wrote: »£2 coin potted into my lovely new £500 saver sealed tin!! I'm hoping this new tin will speed me on to new potting heights this year!!
It will if you're determined, hummingbird, and stay focused on saving, budgeting too as out of that comes the saving! That £2 is a good 'n to have potted!
All the VERY best to you, Saver-upper! We will be with you. :grinheartDreamerHelen wrote: »And yes Sue, we had proper proper snow yesterday morning....It was coming down like someone had cut up a load of paper and was chucking it out of buckets....It didn't stick though, was too wet on the ground....
I've got a rotten cold again....My second one in about 6 weeks so I'm surprised and not in a pleasant way!!Oh well, they say it's the first couple of days that are the worst with a cold and so I'm hoping by the end of Sunday that I'll feel a whole lot better....fingers crossed....
Are you trying to flaunt jakes-mum and I with talk of your snow, Helen??!I LOVE to watch it falling, so very beautiful and peaceful. :heartpuls
Another cold??! You're obviously susceptible to them, so wrap up and keep warm. As you say though, it's only the first couple of days that are the worst so look forward to then..and get well soon. Good potting, Helen!indigowarrior wrote: »Sadly raided the tub last night as I had a natural emergency. Going in to the city tomorrow so I am going to treat myself to a tin.
I am trying to figure what to get my two year old. She loves cars and ride alongs but, has plenty of accidents just standing up. lol
Flippin heck, that was quick, indigowarrior!!! Have a look at the 1st post of page 1 and how to use a Holding Pot, it'll help for such times.
You too with falling (at least) snow, Dizzy Imp! Lucky, lucky girl. That 3p isn't bad at all, and will make a real difference over the year if you're able to get more to go with it.Well done, everyone:T. Love this thread, fast-moving and fun, really happy that I've found you and am now a part of it :j
I'm still going on about my initial potting experience (really must get out more, I sound such a sad act:o).
That's so wonderful to read, carbootcrazy, and it's not 'sad' to be still going on about your initial potting experience as it helps keep you focused on saving, so stay that way and you'll do brilliantly!!
Keep an eye out when you go to Glasgow Christmas Market, lexbubbles, though you've probably been there and back by now! BTW, who's S? Ah...DS I guess.
Oh yes, you too rubbing our noses in the snow you've had and we haven't then eh, Dragon Lily!!!! Shocking behaviour! :rotfl: Stay warm ooop there, it's bad enough way down yer. Well done on your £4.50!!:xmassmile Enjoy a lovely Sunday, SPCers,..and treat your pots well!

Ooo Sue, theres you telling me I should have been Christmas celebrating in October and Lynne telling me its only November  I feel very confuddled now (though I thought everyone on the thread was aware of my ever so slight Christmas passion)
I have nearly finished my secret santa gift :j :j but my poor hands are killing me7 odd full days of working on it has not been kind to them
Just ordered some gift cards from Amaz0n as they are doing £7 credit when you order £30 in cards (if you have been selected as a recipient of the deal, I do have the link if anyone wants to see if they are eligable but its only valid till midnight tonight), plus if you have them delivered to your local post a parcel shop (like click and collect) they give you another £5 voucher on topso £12 extra for ordering £30 of cards that I will use anyway :rotfl:
Had to pop out to get an extra bit for the secret santa make as I was literally just finishing and bloomin ran out! grrrr so had to buy a new pack just to get a teeny tiny bit *rolls eyes* BUT, nice young man at the till gave me a £2 coin so I am now a bit happierSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Evening
I wish I could buy more gifts for more kids but it was like getting blood out of a stone getting the list from the met's organiser this year. It was done central this time rather than by individual borough. I'll do another 25% of this challenges potting next year too.
£3.17 potted today.
It's freezing here. I bought a flanelette duvet cover today and it will be going on tomorrow.
I hope everything goes as well as it can saver upper xx

Hi all.
Well I've not exactly read many posts but I'm assuming I got the opening date month wrong as I thought it was 5th December. Was just popping in to see how the build up was going to realise I've missed it Oh well that'll serve me right for going awol during the year! Well I haven't time tonight but I'll do my upmost to count my pot in the next couple of days and hope I'm in time for the big declaration.
Unsure without reading more if I need a new number or will keep the same, but whichever it is - Hi there Sue - please may I stay joined?
Edit: read more now and I see I can keep my number as I'm posting just before the end of November. Yippee - done one thing right lol!
Best wishes all xxChallenge savings 2010-2016 £1564.60:j
