I bet it was a lovely day though, 32b3. I'm pleased you thought of the pot as well. :D

My heart goes out to your little treasure, Saver-upper, bless her xx Your DH will get along just fine, though he will certainly be busy, but at least he'll have his parents and be kept busy with the young ones. I hope Friday passes off well and the funeral is a relatively good one. Bon voyage and I hope your flight is a good one, don't forget an iPod or something to read.We will look forward to seeing you back..meanwhile, as I said before, I'll be with you in spirit. :kisses3: and {{{hugs}}}, Sue x

Oh, well done your HD, tatabubbly! I must admit, my washing was starting to pile up so I finally got all the whites going overnight (economy 7) last night, it's just beautiful now, ironed too! :j

Sounds like you enjoyed a lovely night out with your friends, Helen, good for you and I'm so pleased you enjoyed LOTD! :D
Well done with the CD, just the ticket, and great potting. D'you mean you actually have snow?? Jammy devil...it clearly missed us. :(

Excellent work, CrazyKitten, isn't it wonderful to have started!! :j
You too, 12 month challenge, a great beginning! I'm pleased you're going to cover it, you can always be inventive and do something purely YOU around it. ;)
Be sure to have a lovely evening and a super Sunday...don't forget to pot!

Chuffed to report that I'm off the marks with my savings:j.

Was giving the top shelf of my tallest kitchen cupboard a good clear out last night. Long story short, I'm only 5' 1" and need to get the steps out to reach right to the back so only keep non-food stuff up there that is never needed. Discovered a very heavy tin ('what the heck is this?' I thought). Gobsmacked to find it full of small denomination coins which must have been the remains of car boot sale profits from at least 2 years ago. Shows how often I clear out my cupboards:o.

Total was £14.40 (that's a lot of small value coins, mostly copper) so I'm delighted that I can add them to my challenge total. I can, can't I, seeing as they were put there a couple of years ago?

Realised I need to find a mega-sized pot/tin for this challenge as that lot totally filled a sizeable hot chocolate tin. As they are so heavy I expect a whole shelf full of tins will be needed by next November. I'm nothing if not optimistic:rotfl:

    CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!

:xmastree: :xmassign: :snow_grin :santa2: :xmassign: :xmastree:

DH and I went to the local garden centre and bought a 2 foot tall santa all dressed in old fashioned clothes, was priced up at £45, we got him for £13.60 :D He now stands guard by the living room door watching DD to make sure she's behaving herself ;) If the bell on his hat rings then he knows shes being naughty ;) (mainly because she's mucking about and knocks into him :rotfl:)

Another £5 of the £65 cashback into the pot tonight as I had change in my purse after a cheeky pizza tea :o

I am most upset as I was promised snow! I even went weekend shopping yesterday in preparation of this momentous occasion that was to happen last night/this morning! and did we get anything?? not one pigging flake! Lies I tell you! I reacon DH only told me these massive porkies so he wouldn't have to go to Mr T this morning  I want my snow!

    Evening

Been shopping again today  although today was only for around 5 hours unlike yesterday's 13 hours.

I finished off my giving tree presents today. I promised to use 25% of last years potting on the giving tree gifts so that was £165, so 8 kids but I rounded it up to 10 kids. I need to drop the gifts off to new Scotland Yard by the 6th December.

Tomorrow I have some click and collect things to pick up from Argos but other than that I am not going out :D

    £7.17 potted today.

    :hello: Good evening everyone,

Have been reading and so good to read everyone's potting so much money.

Saver upper, so sorry to hear your sad news, my thoughts are with you and I do hope you have a safe trip.

Earlier in the week I potted 60p in 20p's.

Today I went to buy the children a winter quilt each and have a nice shiny £2 to add to my pot too:j I am hoping the children will be a lot warmer tonight, as it has suddenly got very cold here.

Stay warm and safe everyone. x
