    Evening everyone :hello:

£1 rescued from DH's jeans pocket before it went into the washing machine and 40p from change.
    Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared
  • I think hubby is more excited about the new SPC, he empties out his coins each day into the pot, yesterday and tonight were good amounts added, although he would not tell me how much as it must be a surprise!

I did eye up some £1 coins he put in so I guesstimate about £10 put in over the past two days!!
  • Another 50p potted today after popping out to go and get milk which I forgot to buy yesterday, I possibly would have had more but I spotted the chocolate digestives in aldi and just couldn't resist! Lol but my excuse is that we had ran out so needed them to keep the oh quiet! Haha

I haven't found any roadkill yet! Either people don't drop it where I live or there's other people with better eyesight than me!

I may have to walk past the local pub on Saturday morning in the hope of finding some money dropped by a weary drunk late on Friday night! Haha.

The wind in Birmingham is terrible! My daughters trampoline is up side down in the back garden and I must have picked my bins up off next doors driveway at least 10times today!

    How's the weather everywhere else?

Still nothing to pot. I'm getting sad. I literally never have any cash and don't go out anywhere where people might drop coins very often. Oh, the joys of rural living :(

We are still on flood alert here - river gauge measured two metres higher than normal at crisis point yesterday and the fields around the small cluster of houses on the flat land have all flooded. Last night was a nail-biting time.

Levels had dropped but are now raising again thanks to Storm Barney. Gale-force winds are great fun too - poor chickens are not enjoying things. Have tucked them all up inside with a warm light to help soothe the poor things. Not good.

Cor, wasn't that ever a right pain reading posts with photos on the page, jakes-mum. I've been so exasperated at times, especially with replying!

I was doing my nut! scrolling back and forth, back and forth to read everyones posts! plus I was on my ipad which made it worse!

OMG, the wind is fierce tonight, hope my fences can handle the buffeting as the way our houses are set up it seems to tunnel the wind, last time we had winds like this it blew down the fence and all the supporting brick pillars  we have metal supports in them now so will see how strong they are

DH gave me a nice big handful of change out of his pocket so in the tin its gone, making a nice chinking sound now not a horrible hollow clunky sound :D

Thanks for getting back ,the tin I've seen looks like you could put a lamp on it ,it was the size of a small coffee table ,could you imagine moving it around if it was full ! And what a grand total that would make .
    Just a £1 potted today :)
