    I've been Money Tipped!
Morning all, hope all are well.
Sorry for being absent for approx 3 months, I'll try and post more (even if just once per week), but may be after Xmas / New Year.

Welcome to new potters - good luck. Getting funds in place for next Xmas is the clever way to do things - it makes a lot of sense.
Some great targets set - reach those heights - best wishes.

My target for No. 9 challenge is a minimum of £600 - I need £500 to cover Xmas and I like at least £100 for the sales - although I often get cash as presents (to spend as I wish). I'll only be posting savings of full £5's, £10's or even £20's etc - easier to keep on track!!
I'll also be adding cash-back saved from one of my sites before next years cash in date (3rd November) - hopefully £100 or so there.

Take care all, have a great Xmas and New Year and may 2016 be lucky for you all (including myself - lol).

Took a while catching up, skip-reading and thanking the threads and getting back up to date - worth it though.

Thanks Sue for your support and thanks for keeping this great thread going - a true MSE star.

Please lexbubbles, or anyone else - kindly don't put such huge images on the thread in future, I'm having a terrible job viewing and answering posts tonight. Sad to say, the photo of your pots can't even be seen properly as a result. :( See the part on the 1st post that says about sizing, thanks.

Sorry about that Sue. It's not huge on my screen at all so I didn't realise (not stretching the window or anything - this is what it looks like for me: http://imgur.com/1V0CBjR ) so I don't know why it looks so huge to you? Different browsers maybe?

£1.45 potted after cinema last night.

Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a good day despite the weather. For those troubled by flooding, I sincerely hope you're soon clear and...NOT rained on anymore! {{{Hugs}} to all those in need of them and I hope you're soon feeling much better.
Well, I went out last night and brought 2 sealed tins. I may be a bit optimistic buying two. But I thought I'd rather get two now and have one for next year instead of having to go out again and buy another one.

Why not use one for copper and the other for silver, Lyndsey-michelle. A good thing in hiding it if they're liable to be got at! You did well spotting that £1!!!!!! :j

Ok, dreamingofmoney, your Target's updated, good luck in reaching it, and yes, aim for silver whenever possible. ;)

Well done to you too, crv1963, it sounds as though you're doing well, stay that way! :D

It's a joy to see you whenever you can get on, Lynsey, though you really had me worried, but at least you're ok, thankfully. :grinheart I take your point with your savings, that's perfectly ok, so long as we have a happy Lynsey, that's all that counts! :DHave a wonderful Christmas and a very safe, healthy and happy New Year! We'll look forward to seeing you after the festive season. :xmassmile

GUTTING out your room, Moonbean??!!! At least you came across a 5p so well worth the gutting!!

Many apologies to you, lexbubbles, I took it that everyone was seeing it the same size as me, but maybe not!! I use Firefox as my browser and reading each post I'd liken to being similar to travelling from Cornwall to Kent to see everyone's entire posts, truly!! I'll be so glad when this page is over!
So perhaps FF is the problem. However, viewing your pots on the link is perfect and I can see both pots look gorgeous, no wonder you've kept them for years. :D Please accept my apologies, I just didn't realise. :)

Oh the blessings of a holding pot eh, Hicksy! I hope you're little Jack is soon feeling much better, poor little darling. :A How's the job working out?

You're forgiven, mcjordi, just this one though! :naughty: Great saving with the £15!!!! :j

What a great friend, hummingbird, and best wishes in getting that Target!!! Lovely to see you!

    See you later, folks.

Enjoy a peaceful (or not, if you've got kiddies) Sunday, Potters, and....keep potting when possible!!
    Sue xx

I'm on chrome. No apologies necessary, browsers will display forums and websites differently due to how they interpret the code (this used to be my course of study, I won't bore you :rotfl:).

Whichever bit of code is making images auto-resize in chrome presumably doesn't talk to Firefox very well. This sort of thing used to be a major thorn in my side when I was coding websites (sometimes whole elements of a site will relocate themselves somewhere else on a different browser - looking your way IE - for noooooo apparent reason). So glad I don't do it any more :rotfl:

In future I'll make sure to manually resize my images before I post them

Hi everyone, I'm back in for another year! Have just declared over on the old thread for last year and will be banking that tomorrow. Have emptied my purse of all the change that's in there at the moment to start off this year on a good foot. Hope everyone's having a good Sunday, I'm off to check on the chicken that's roasting away in the oven!
