Ahh, fair enough Jakes-mum. Take your DH and just plant him n Toys R Us in Times square to play video games al day :)

Terrible whats happened in Paris. Gatwick North has been evacuated this morning.

I am going to pot some change later. I'm hanging around with the cutest kid in he land later, my 2 year old nephew, so I would imagine I will go out and buy him some grapes and strawberries which are his fav, but not if they have been in the fridge, when he won't eat them :D

    A VERY WARM WELCOME HOME
, Candy!!! :grinheart It's so good to see you back with us again.

Sadly, a couple of years ago I had to re-do the entire thread as so many members had either stopped coming to MSE, couldn't afford to save or were perhaps going it alone. Fair enough, but it left me with 4 posts filled with so many missing members. So, everyone re-joined with new Nos! :D I'm afraid you were one of those in the missing ones, but ANYONE is most welcome to return and those who've already done so have settled in nicely - you too I'm sure! ;) You know all the gen about the thread, Candy, but it might pay to have a look over the 1st pot for tips to help. You'll find your new No on the 3rd post of P 1. All the very best in saving! Join us on the thread to help keep you motivated.

A very Good Afternoon to all, Potters, though I know the day is tinged with the shock and sorrow of so many lives lost in Paris in such wilful acts; I know I'm not alone in saying that our hearts and prayers go out to all those who died and all the loved ones who's lives will forever be changed as a result of such evil. God Bless them all!

Well done, Lost...and for someone with such a name you really do find an awful lot! ;) Keep it up.

I have just taken a look at my previous SPC totals and 2010 was my best year saving £1471, have no idea why that was but lets see if I can beat that this year :D

Over the years I've been doing this (only missed the first year :( ) I have saved the grand total of £5549.35 :j

WOW mummytummy, haven't YOU saved a truly brilliant amount over the last 7 years, it's fantastic and let's hope you can match 2016 with 2010!!! :j It's amazing what determination and SPC can achieve! :D

Lets hope your friend keeps up her payments, TheCatsandDogsMother, I bet you feel a load better knowing your pot now has such a great cash injection! :D

I quite agree with the use of cash, skilly. ;) Good luck with finds whilst having a sort out.

    YES - Vicky!!! :j

Great for you 'n all, cybertortoise!

Ahhh, bless him, 32b3, he sounds adorable, but I bet a bob you buy him fresh fruit. :A Not a bit surprised about Gatwick N.
Thank You Everyone for your kind words regarding my Weight Loss....This is the most I've lost (and kept off) in Years so I'm really proud of myself at the moment....

...and long may it continue, Helen! :D You're proud of you and we're proud of you too! IF you use public transport..any transport, then if possible walk instead, not only will it help you lose more, but again, it releases the endorphins making us feel soooooo much better! We're all with you!!

A 5p coin found whilst hubby and I were walking our Lab this morning! It's in the roadkill pot now!!!!! :j I wish I could bring myself to empty the pot...but can't!
Enjoy your Saturday, Potters, but TAKE CARE....and keep potting!!
    Sue xx
