Well done all on potting

I have to brave Storm Abigail today -and she's really giving it some- to go to the post office to send off eBay things. Normally I'd pay by card (as I do with everything. Cash-free life) but I'll get out £20 and pot the change.

I've just potted my first £1.25 after shopping :j although it's not in a sealed pot at the moment - I'm feeling in a bit of a crafty mood so will be making one over the weekend!

Also found about £2 worth of coppers hiding at the back of the wardrobe - that'll be going in too

oooooooh, do be careful, lexbubbles, it's so very windy down yer in Zumerset, but I can't imagine what it's like up there!! :eek: Just stay safe....then pot that change!!!!! :rotfl:

Excellent work, SandeC...and you're off ! Aha...another £2 too! :T Just brilliant! It's soooo good to have new members chat about their pottings along with the rest of us, it shows you've settled in, are part of the family - AND - want to save! :j Good luck with whatever it is you create.

It was really windy and rainy and all-together nasty :eek: BUT eBay things posted and £2.26 potted!

I hate going to the PO. It's a 10min walk in the opposite direction to everything else, so I can't combine it with other errands and have to make a special effort to go there.

Actually got out £30. Posting came to £20.71, got a big roll of address labels for £1.99 to price stuff up for a (hopeful) future boot sale - I have no car so I have to walk myself and my stuff 2 miles over there - and then got myself a steak bake and a bun from Gregg's on the way home to make up for going to the dreaded PO in a storm :rotfl:

There's still £2 in my purse but I'm leaving it there to grab some energy drinks on the way to uni lectures next week. Can't afford to pot £5 all at once
