Oh Sue, I use chrome and lexs picture was mahoosive to me aswell, they always are unless the poster uses something like photobucket to resize them, I always thought everyone saw it that way too so you were not alone :D

Oh my god you guys I just figured this out. I thought it was CSS not playing ball but I was wrong* this is easily fixable.

It's a setting in your user CP that will do it for you (I had a cursory glance and didn't see anything, but after testing on multiple browsers and not getting stretching I went back and had a look)

Go to your user CP, then under the "settings and options" header, click "edit options"

The bottom section is labelled "miscellaneous options". In there is a drop down for "forum skin". If you have "new masthead (stretchy) selected" then images will show up mahooooooosive styles and ruin your viewing experience. If you set it to "new masthead, fixed width" the images will resize to fit within the fixed width set by the forum.

*Half-wrong. I thought it was CSS code being dodgy because I had mine set to the fixed width which IS a CSS auto resize thing but if you don't have it set fixed width then there is no relevant CSS code to go wrong in the first place, y'know?

(If it's already set to fixed width and massive pictures are still happening for you then I honestly don't know, but if it's set to stretchy then you're better off changing it and letting all images resize themselves. It also means every page of every thread will be the same size and it just generally looks nicer.)

(Tested in chrome, firefox, and safari with the same results. I can't test on Safari iOS for iPhone yet because my phone is dead)

Edited to add: there is also a "fixed width, more space" option which will put the user info column currently to the left of posts on top and make the posts wider to compensate. Personally I think it looks weird, but that setting will also resize images.

After a slightly expensive weekend (new phone, new dishwasher, Christmas shopping) I really need to get back on it with regard to saving/making money.

First off I need to get a tin for my savings which I am hoping to pick up on Friday when I pick up all my click and collect parcels but in the meantime I'm just going to use a little dish and hide it from my sticky fingered family.

Secondly, I'm part of the £10 a day challenge and just want to check if I put some of the money from that into my tin can I count it for both challenges.

I've just emptied my purse of change and have 52p to start me off x
