found 10p in coppers in the kitchen just abandoned on the side  I have rescued them and added thm too the £2.05 I had in my purse, into the pot its all gone and my pot is now FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULL!!! :D:D:D:D

I think i'll save meself a squid and create a new tin from one of DH's old coffee jars as with less than 3 months to go, I don't think i'll fill another metal one and I really begrudge sending a £1 on a tin that will not be used to its full potential

I've now got "save the change" set up on my tsb account so every time I spend money on my card it rounds the amount up to the nearest £1 and "pockets" the change in an online saver account. Hoping that when I do actually use my DC that it will start potting away for me. I'll withdraw the amount on 1st November and add it to the pot. I emptied the few stray coppers from my purse into the pot before bed. Every penny... and all that jazz.

Just wondering does anyone have specific things they're saving up for with their pots? Is it more motivating to have a goal in mind???

What shall I do? Should I empty the pig and bank it all or should I just take a bit out? And where do I put it to stop it being spent?

Would love to know what people think!

I'd go with either putting the piggy in a safe place and starting a new put OR removing it all and putting it in a separate bank account and making sure you don't use it!

I mostly save mine for the C word but it's my OH's birthday in May so i try to keep the rest for when we go away for his birthday.

Hello everyone, I'm still here, still potting but i'm trialing something new this year where i don't count what i've potted so i haven't been posting. I still read everyones posts though. Next year i think i am going back to counting as i don't think i've potted very much at all. I have a VSP too which i include in this challenge and that's doing a lot better.

    Hope you are all happy

I save my cash to use when we go out leading up to Christmas Evkizzy- we usually have a few evenings out with friends and colleagues and it's ready cash. If there's enough left over I take the family for a slap up meal over the Christmas period.

I have £3.79 to add to my pot today :)
