I'd call that a saving evkizzy.

Four pounds for me this week.A couple of lean weaks at the moment but it's still four pounds that would have just disappeared before joining this challenge.

Happy weekend everyone. Off to the seaside shortly for Mother-In-Law's 70th birthday party and to see my 'little' girl who's now taller than my wife :)

£2.81 to the pot, my OH has kindly left 2p on the side table. I can only assume it is definitely for my pot, either way I am taking it :) Every little helps.

My DD#1 has been raising money with cake sales. She's now off on her trip but ran out of time to bank the money. So we've counted it, I've transferred the money from our bank account to hers, put the notes in my purse, and a lot of change went into my pot - I don't know how much, I got my son to do it in case I weakened from potting so much! Anyway, my beautiful piggy bank is now....... FULL!!!

What shall I do? Should I empty the pig and bank it all or should I just take a bit out? And where do I put it to stop it being spent?

Would love to know what people think!

  • Hey everyone, hopefully your weekend has been good. I've spent mine helping the housemate paint half the house so I'm covered in green patches but on the plus side I haven't spent any money :)
I also have to decide on where I want to do my final placement for Uni, a rural placement or one in a major city, either way it will involve moving :( so I'm thinking my pot will end up going towards that. I've potted the remaining notes in my wallet to mark the end of the week.
    Number 495 :)

I'd put the piggy somewhere safe if you don't have a separate bank/PO account that you can put it into. Then grab any old jar/pot where you can make a hole in the lid, seal the pot lid with tape and KEEP POTTING :D

£1 in my pot for posting. Hope you all having a super weekend
