    Thanks Jakes-Mum.
I do sometimes get carried away with things and leave myself short. I’ll put it in a holding pot for now. Good advice.

    Evening potters
    Hope you are all well.
Still potting Sue!! You've taught me well :)

Happy to tell you that as of today our debt management plan is over.......six long years of working our butts off, sticking to a budget, sticking to a list in the supermarket, putting every spare penny into our sealed/virtual sealed pots.....its been hard but I am glad we had to go through it.
I will never take money for granted ever again. I have learned to save!!! I am converted!!!
I want to thank each and every one of you who has offered support and guidance to me. Not one of you know me personally but you have helped me through some dark times and for that I am eternally grateful.

Updated siggy and am heading over to the debt free thread to share my news!!!

    Love to you all

    Well done Emily!!! :j

I’ve just potted £5 of my M10AD challenge £40.28. If it stays in the bank it gets spent so £5 is in the pot and the rest is withdrawn and in the holding pot. If I see it as physically extra cash that I’ve made then I won’t spend it the way I do regular cash and if It’s not been needed by the end of the month I’ll pot it!

Keep on potting cats and kittens!

Oooo thats what my pot is for too! but we're going next year after my eldest finishes his GCSE's, good luck with your saving :D (i'm uber excited, been waiting to go for 31 years now)

I have no change! zero! ziltch! nada! who is taking all my change?? have decided I need to start eating out of the freezer as its completely chock a block in there but im still buying fish and chips from the chippy and £90 odd quid seems to disappear each week to Mr T  I know the boy is a coeliac so my shop is a tad more expensive than others but still! thats just insane! SO! I shall eat my freezer clear and am sat making a meal plan for the next two weeks . . . (still having chippy chips once though as everyone needs a treat once! but JUST the chips, no fish or fish cake or pies . . I have all these things in my freezer!)
