Can one over-pot?
I posted very early this morning (almost overnight) that I had potted £8 in £2 coins..Just now, while having a little tidy-up,I found a £10 note and 2x50p pieces that have been sitting near "my seat"on the sofa.Figured since it hadn't been put in a safer place for over a week,I might as well pot it.Or maybe I was just abit excited because this week I had an actual meter reading for the first time in a while (with not having lived in the house for 5 months). After feeling a bit :eek:by reading the bill wrong, and getting ready to phone the supplier (M+S,SSE) and question it,I realised they were going to re-credit me nearly £300,AND decrease my direct debit by £18/month for gas,and by £26/month for electricity :T.

Currently have no spare change to add as the weekend has been spend free and I haven't taken any money out. But found 20p whilst out yesterday so that has gone in. I have been going big with this and have been putting in £1 and £2 coins, which I would have rarely if ever done before. I want at least £50 in the tin by November.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Hi Sue and everyone else, I know it's been an age since I've been on, but please could I rejoin the challenge? I would like to set my target at £300 and will update my signature tomorrow, if it's ok to join? ☺0

Hellooooooooooooooooo Pottersssssssssssssssssssss
Well i've started my next blanket, this one is an extra special one just for DDits a bit of a fiddly one but I think she'll like it when its done
Has the added bonus that I need yellow and green wool that I havent got in my stash so i'm just going to have to go to H0bbycraft and buy some
Bit of mixed emotions news today, 4 weeks ago while out with DH and DD I found £60 on the floor  took it to the police station and notified the company I found it near. No-one claimed it so today I went back down the station and was told its now legally mine  so im a bit :j :j that I got £60 but also reallyfor the poor person who lost it
So its now in my Disney fund pot.
have been potting various shrapnel over the last few days but very few £2 coins coming into my hands  my pt is not happy! :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Today was an allocated spend day so was able to add 57p on the pot. I'll admit that when i was in home bargains i paid the £2.76 with my change rather than the £5 note i had so that I could keep the note, meaning I had very little change to donate to the tin, but the £5 note is for tomorrow so i will have change then.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Thank you for the lovely welcome back Sue-UU
A lot has happened since I was last on. I'm just completing my 3rd year of college (final exam this week ), I've been retraining for a new career. I also got a part time job in June last year, which I absolutely love :j
Unfortunately, I kept telling myself "I'm working now so I can afford this, that and the other" and have now found myself nearly £7000 in debt. I'm disgusted that I let things get this bad, but think I have finally had my light bulb moment. So onwards and upwards from here!
I'm using a sealed coffee jar as my savings tin as I don't have anything else at the moment (and didn't want to spend any money!) and have popped 4 x £2 coins in there to start things off.
Hope everyone has a lovely evening!0
