My curiosity got the better of me yesterday so I got a knife on my Terramudi pot to see how much was inside.. Eventually, after a lot of poking, £90 in £1 and £2 coins fell out! Very happy with this as I wasn't expecting that much. Now it's safe back in the pot. Not bad for less than 5 months of saving. Hope everyone is well0

I increased my hours this week (cos having a day off a fortnight is just too crazy
).As a result,until people set up BACS to pay me with,they have paid me cash.Yesterday I was paid £58 in cash,today £22.Not sure how much of it to pot.I am tempted to pot the lot,but that is alot of money at once.

Saver-upper why don't you put the money aside somewhere you can't easily get at, but still accessible (eg the back of an unused drawer, in a section of your purse/handbag/wallet you never use) and if you haven't needed to touch it for say a week or so then it's safe to pot.
