    Confession time... :o

I broke open my pot as it was getting full-ish and have banked £134.15 :j and used it towards my car tax for this year, due to purchasing a new car at short notice. I'll add the figure into my signature later and, as £44 of that money was £2 coins for holiday savings, I'm treating the holiday as a debt and will pay the £44 into a holiday savings account ASAP. (Not sure if that made sense but it does to me :o)

My pot for next year is double the size of the usual pots so I shouldn't need to open it mid-2017 ;) For the time being I have a new pot decorated with the Pringles logo that was fed with 70p today and over £3 (forgot to count the coins but there were 3 £1 coins) yesterday :j

  • Hello!
Sorry, been awol again (hangs head in shame)
Have been potting away though. My brother is getting married next May and he lives in Canada - I'd love to go so I might save this year's pot until then! We'll see. Am dropping a grade and some hours at work next month so may not be possible. Hey ho.
    Hope everyone is thriving!
Off to read back now, have missed loads :(

Delurking here to say that I too have deposited my SPC dosh into the bank as it was too full (first time ever). £316.01 into my account. Already started on my jar again.

This helped pay for car service and helped to by my new car :D.

    Evening folks :hello:

Potted my weekly £10 yesterday :j

Don't forget folks to put any amounts banked/spent from your pot on your siggie next to your SPC number, as it's easy to forget and it makes it easier when it comes to count-up day. It's all monies you've saved :D

Hope you all have a marvellous Monday

A meagre 37p trickled into my sealed piggy last night. I thought I'd have more, but needed a few emergency supplies (ice lollies) for the workers yesterday. We don't have a freezer at the moment, so I have to buy frozen food as and when it is needed. A real pain!

I'm really sorry, I've been awol for quite a while. Have still been potting, I'll update my total later. Lots going on at the moment. Find out in a week or so whether I'm being made redundant or not :( Hope everyone's well here though:)
SPC Newbie, Number 131 :) - £7.06 saved so far

Yes thank you for the reminder to add the banked amount onto my signature Lynne :D

Oh no Dizzy hope you get a new freezer soon

Yesterday I got 2x £2s from Aldi so potted that in the holiday pot, then a few hours later 3x £2s from the bus driver which has also been potted. I've developed a naughty habit of pinching my family members' £2 coins and swapping them for other coinage. :p Also potted several coins into the normal sealed pot but forgot to count them again, oops.

No money spent today so no money potted. Payday is on Thursday so will try to repay some of the holiday pot "debt" then :)
