Afternoon SPCers! I hope you've all had a reasonable week, more to the point - I hope you're all looking forward to a lovely and restful weekend, or whatever else it is you have planned; either way...thoroughly enjoy yourselves! :D Those of you who are poorly or not well in any other way, please know we're thinking of you and wishing you well. Huge and fuzzy {{{hugs}}} to you all and get well soon.

Sorry not to have had more time on Tuesday, Saver-upper, but it was tea time. I can well imagine your sheer joy at having the house complete after months of so much going on with it. Not much longer now until you're all in and so very happy! :j Knowing where everything is as well! ;)

You read all you like, Westie, hopefully it'll encourage you to want to pot!

I shall make sure I send you a piccy of the blanket when finished, its cot bed size wide and is about a foot long at the moment, not sure i'm liking my colour combo choice but I refuse to undo after the amount of times I undid it to get the first row correct :rotfl:

I did send you a pm, not sure if you've seen it or not, but its there when you got 2 mins :D

It's good to know you won't forget a photo for us later on, jakes-mum, I'm very interested as our DD who got married in March keeps on about having a baby, though her DH doesn't seem to want to rush. Marriage seems to have made her broody! :A

Yes thanks, I did get the PM, I've just not had time to reply, but will do after this post.

Your Mum sounds about as ofay with machines as I do. I'm fine with the 2p ones that try to push others out :rotfl: and the air hockey ones but that's the lot. Maybe she & I had better team up! :rotfl:

    Morning all
Found £1.30 this morning that oh left on floor ;)

Flippin eck, MrsShazbat, you sound cumberpatched in more ways than just your avatar. Time to get a grip don't you think! Still, IF you can sort out your Quidco you'll be ok. Stop and draw breath Mrs S!! :rotfl:
Well done, Dizzy Imp, time to try spottin and pottin more if you can! :j

ooooh, don't you just love it when we get our DH's cash, skilly, keep at it!!

You can make the posts as quick as you like, siju, so long as they include cash - who cares! :D More, more, more!

2 great finds, Ruth, now you know a place where you're onto a winner!!!! :j
    Another £1 today
Tempted to pot the £10 note in my purse but I might wait a few days to do that xx

Good work with the £1, parksandrec, and if you THINK you might be able to pot the £10er but you're unsure then put it somewhere else until your certain. Good luck with it though. :D

Wasn't it a glorious day, 32b3, another today too. Good savings.

BTW, our DD's blood test came back as positive, so she's definately had chicken pox. Now she just needs to see a Dermatolgist to make sure she has no skin lesions that she's unaware of or they could turn cancerous! The more I hear about it all the more frightened I get. We're going to an MS day locally tomorrow to hear much more about it, hopefully it might reassure us. One thing's for sure, we're not the only ones affected by it and must bear that in mind. :)

Enjoy a glorious weekend, Potters! Don't forget those pots are starving! ;)

    Sue xx

Well just to say that MY DD was born 9 months and 3 weeks after our wedding so i'm seriously not one to give advice on the best time to have a baby :rotfl:

Well i've managed to get my hands on 3 x £2 coins today so they are going in the pot at bedtime :D

    Morning Everyone.....

I'm so sorry that I haven't been Posting....Real life has gotten in the way and I just about have time to keep up with the Thread that I run on here and that's pretty much it....I've been Working Full-Time Hours in my Paid Job, doing a Placement all day on a Monday and a Friday Morning, seeing Private Clients on a Friday Afternoon and have my own Therapy on a Wednesday Afternoon...Not to mention trying to go to the Gym on a Tuesday and Thursday Morning AND still have a tiny bit of time for myself!! LoL....I think I might be slightly run down as I currently have a cold (that's one of the reasons that I'm awake at nearly 3.30am on a Saturday morning!!)....

I had to take out the Notes in my Pot...so I'm starting again...BUT, I'm going to take it as a positive that I had Notes in there in the first Place AND that I have plenty of time left to add LOTS more money in there for the rest of the Year.....Last Year I would have gotten really down about it....but not this Year!! :D

Sue....It sounds like you have been going through the ringer :( I hope that the Day regarding MS is helpful for you and that you learn lots and can find things that will help your DD....We're all here for you if you need to talk.... xXx

*Hugs* to anyone else that needs them....I'm sorry that I can't reply to everyone.....But I HAVE been reading.....and Celebrating the triumphs and feeling for the losses.....I am here in spirit even if I can't always Post....

I HAVE been managing to Pot silver here and there.....so I'll get there.....Just got to keep on going and keep Potting.... xXx :)

Making a return to the forums after a long absence! I have realised that I don't find it very easy to save actual cash as I don't seem to use it that often! LOL. I seem to be doing better with saving into online accounts at the moment.

Am I right in thinking that we can add all our various savings from different challenges when it comes to counting up day?

I will read back a bit on the thread to see what everyone has been doing!

Hi, I'm still going adding a few coins most days. I've no idea how much is in the tin now, although it feels quite heavy.

    THE EXTENSION IS FINALLY COMPLETED!!!:j:j
Now starts the dusting and polishing of 6 month's worth of builders dust :eek:.....Gonna be a long job :o.
    This afternoon I potted 8x £2 coins.
Great news !! So pleased for you that you're nearly there :D
Just wondering if it would be quicker and easier to 'dust' using a hoover - either an extension hose or one of those hand-held ones ?

Pleased you sorted the chicken-pox thingy Sue. Did you get loads of useful info from the MS meeting ?

Have potted my weekly £10 for last week :)

Hope you all have a marvellous Monday
